The Villa Serbelloni is a grand older hotel that looks upon the fork of Lake Como. The views are spectacular. We saw 3 rooms before we found the right one (Room 54) where we spent 5 days! We were told we might be bored but we were anything but. Relaxing, walking around the small, a little too touristy, town was still quaint and beautiful. The restaurant was special and the staff was helpful. The only reason I am giving it a "very good" vs "excellent" is that I thought the concierge could have been a little more helpful in shipping packages. Beware, Fed Ex only shows up once a week! But we would definitely recommend making sure you ask for full views of Lake Como.

We liked sitting at the outside bar enjoying our cocktails while looking over the lake. Bellagio is a small city so I think every location is good, but this hotel has the best location. Our room was small and somewhat dated with a not so comfortable bed, the bathroom however was spacious and looked newly renovated. We had dinner there once and the food was not so great. Breakfast in the morning was okay but not spectacular. We did not realize that the town was so small and on the third day we asked to check out a day early. They were fine with that and did not charge us for the night we cancelled. I do recommend staying at this hotel.

Coming from Venice, we knew Lake Cuomo would be a perfect place to slowdown. While we had heard how magnificent the hotel was from friends, nothing prepared us for our experience. Yes, the hotel is grand. Yes, the gardens are enchanting. And, yes, the view is breathtaking. But what truly made the hotel special were the people. Let me start by saying when we arrived, we found out we made the reservations for the following month (exactly 30 days too late). BIG anniversary, so the husband was quick to whisper a desperate "help" and the staff jumped into action. We were soon in a beautiful room with that spectacular view. What do you do when a BIG storm moves in for the day? Eat a wonderful breakfast, grab a good book, and lay in bed watching the storm move through the mountains. The location of this hotel cannot be beat and the multiple restaurants and that pool - spectacular. We ran into some people that stayed at Vill d'Este (we almost stayed there) and we were happy we did not stay there - the location is far from the main areas. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary stay!

There is so much to love about this hotel. Its location on Lake Como in the town of Bellagio is priceless. The gardens are beautiful and really well looked after. The views are spectacular.
I loved my accommodation. It was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and appeared to have been newly renovated. It had a large shower recess, a separate bath and toilet and a large double-basined vanity.
The breakfast which was included in the tariff was good value and delicious. It was served in the hotel's huge dining room. There were so many choices of hot and cold dishes and plenty of fruit both whole and chopped up. The breads and pastries on offer were delicious.
The hotel staff were really helpful and professional. They went out of their way to help me when I needed to see a doctor. Nothing was too much trouble.
I had two beautiful meals in the hotel's La Goletta restaurant. Great food. Great service.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Bellagio. I would stay there again without a second thought. Loved it.

Stopped here for lunch before exploring the town. The portions were very small and the food was okay. We ate while looking at the lake, which is beautiful. After lunch we walked around town and did some shopping. The town is adorable. There are three main streets with shops. Some try to be high-end, but fail. They have beautiful leather and silk scarves. Stopped at the local liquor store and bought some liquor that you cannot find in the US. Definitely worth stopping here.
