Grand Hyatt is always my "goto" hotel while in the Tampa/St. Pete area. Beautiful hotel, convenient parking and great staff. Incredible view of the Tampa Bay from my room. If you are in the Tampa/St. Pete area this is a great choice. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while attending a concert at the Raymond James Stadium and we were both impressed with the beautiful property. We wish we could of stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities Hyatt Tampa Bay has to offer. The front desk was friendly, as was all the staff we interacted with during out stay. We were given a room on the 5th floor overlooking the bay & pool area. The room was spacious and comfortable, had a small refrigerator, coffee maker with Starbucks coffee, and a in-room safe. I like that you walk into a small hallway instead of directly into you room, makes it feel more like home. My only complaint would be that I could hear everything from the rooms next to us, it sounded like they were standing right next to our bed when they got in at 1am. That goes for people walking down the hallway late at night and enjoying the outside bar/lounge area that must of been directly below us. That aside, it did quiet down around 2am and the blackout curtains did help us sleep in a bit. Not many families as another reviewer stated, lots of business travelers and conference attendees. The following morning we had their breakfast buffet located in 1823 Kitchen & Bar, it was fantastic. Lots of fresh fruit, pastries, meats, cheeses, and hot breakfast options. Before leaving the hotel we took a walk on the boardwalk/nature trail that leads to a gazebo near the bay. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Grand Hyatt has always been our go-to hotel for staycations and family & friends visiting from out of town! The hotel staff are friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to assist their guests. The location and views are absolutely breath-taking! Oystercatchers, although high-priced, the seafood is always fresh and doesn't disappoint! Tampa Bay doesn't seem to get old when staying with the Grand Hyatt. I highly recommend this hotel for leisure and business travel!

I have been at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay for two wonderful weeks while relocating to the Tampa Bay Area. The staff has been AMAZING everyday, but I have to share this one. I lost my keys today after losing my wallet two days ago and Wendy from Security came to let me in to my Casita (which is awesome by the way). Wendy found me hot and frustrated and went above and beyond to look for my wallet in every location I had not yet checked including every van. Nothing turned up, but Wendy wouldn't let me stay down for long. A couple hours later I got a knock at the door from room service delivering a gift from Wendy. She helped me find something to smile about today after all. Thanks, Wendy!

A reasonable hotel with great views over the bay. Need transport to travel to most areas of Tampa and beaches.
The rooms are clean and pleasant. Housekeeping comes very late unless you chase.
Nice bar . Oystercatchers restaurant is really good with excellent food and lovely setting , service a bit slow. Main restaurant ok with nice salads and the full range of meats and fish. Service good and friendly.
Nice bar with nice outside terrace , although outside terrace not cleaned very often.
Small pool and bar pleasant. Didn't try the slightly bigger pool as a long way from main building
