My friend booked this for a group of us so my first impression was when we checked into what from the outside looked like a beautiful regency building on a lovely street.
Our Taxi driver commented it used to be a Butlins which made no sense at the time but did later.
After over half an hour of the receptionist saying my friend hadn’t paid for the room and then finally finding she had!! we got our keys.
The same rude receptionist kept pointing down what looked like a dead end saying out there. When another male receptionist actually showed us the way we went out the back of the building to an outside area, with green fake grass and a block of bright orange flats with metal staircases. The Butlins comment now made sense!
We got no help dragging our cases up two flights of metal stairs to the apartment.
When we opened the door the whole sitting room was taken up with mattresses on the floor, not great as this left no sofa or floor space. The whole point of booking an apartment rather than bedrooms.
The positives - very very clean. nice little well equipped kitchen. Large separate bedroom and bathroom. Not a bad price for central London.
We didn’t have breakfast (so no comment on that) as didn’t know if it was included or not and the phone in the room didn’t appear to work for us to call reception and check.

This was my second stay at the hotel. Booked the triple apartment this time around and was given a room right next to the lobby on the ground floor.
The reception desk was friendly and check in was quick. The rooms were clean and all amenities were working. The interiors felt warm and cosy.
The main bedroom in the triple apartment was rather small. The sofa bed in the living/dining area a little uncomfortable and wobbly.

I stayed here for a couple of days in October. On initial arrival the foyer looked very well maintained and the check in process was clear and simple. I stayed on the lower ground floor and when walking to my room the rest of the hotel looked tired. However when arriving at my room it was clean and well looked after although it wasn't like the pictures shown on the site! There was a mat covering a large manhole cover on the floor which I tripped over a few times. The bathroom was good and very airy.
The location was great. There were some great places to eat less than 5 mins away and bayswater tube is very local. Hyde park is a further 5 mins away so this is in a great location.
I would recommend this hotel but maybe not have the high expectations the picture describe for the rooms themselves. I would certainly stay their again though!

My Mum and I were commencing a 5 week trip (from New Zealand / Australia) and needed somewhere to settle in after our long haul flight.
Our studio apartment with twin beds was clean and tidy, with a real window that opened, en-suite and tiny kitchenette with fridge.
The local supermarket nearby had healthy convenience foods, so we could cook and eat at home a few times per day, which we very much appreciated.
The decor is very dated, its not a modern hotel but for the price we paid was very good value. Wi-fi internet wasn't easy to connect, we got there in the end.
Staff were welcoming and helpful.
I'd recommend this place for a budget stay in an excellent location.

On the website the photo showed a white, fresh looking building. When we arrived we found drab rooms with old furniture and creaking floors. The staff were pleasant enough but gave conflicting information when asked the same questions. Not sure if there were apartments. Our apartment for four was merely one space with kitchen, toilet and four beds.
