Great resort, clean and just like the photos. The warm lagoon pool was very well used, busy over the weekend then very quiet again. Cold water pool is also lagoon style. Both have plenty of sun lounges, chairs & tables and 4 BBQ's in each pool setup. Great for people with little ones as there's a warm pool for them, attached to the lagoon pool. Short walk to bus stops, 700 to Surfers & all stops to Broadbeach South. Get a GoCard, easy to use and needed to get to Movie World etc. Approx 1 hr away. 800 mtres (LEFT) to local Aldi, Coles, Thai, India, ATM, Kebabs, chemist. Small shopping centre but good. Short walk thru rear of hotel is beach with Life Savers all along. Stayed for 10 days, room was freshened & clean towels after 5, very nice. 3 Floors so never far from pool.

Close to Burleigh Heads to south and Surfers Paradise to the Nth by car or Public transport plus inland to Varsity Lakes and ROBINA.

We have been staying at The Grande Florida for about 10 years by my calculations and it is still the best place for staying on the gold coast so close to everything, but if you just want to relax you really don't have to leave.

Thank you Nealson for saving our long planned family holiday. After our planned trip to Agnes Waters was flooded out you fitted us in for 7 nights at a great rate. The facilities are perfect for a family with the pools and beach nearby. Close to everything.
Our apartment was very comfortable and clean.
Staff are very friendly.

To much to note but all I can say is not to believe the pictures on the internet ! Better to check it out in person before staying . The staff are lovely and the pools and outdoor areas are great if you are not staying indoors much probably be able to tolerate it . There was a uncomfortable smell in the room , curtains were just sitting on the hooks , feet were black from the floor , just a very disappointing stay for the price .
