Nice modern hotel located not too far from the main sights. Rooms were very clean, kept well stocked with fresh towels and included all the usual conveniences. Staff were polite and helpful. Excellent selection available for breakfast in a bright and airy restaurant. Unique decor and furnishings throughout the hotel. Only slight reservation is the area the hotel is located but applying a bit of common sense by keeping to the main street, particularly if out in the evening, is all that's needed.

We booked this hotel as we were runnng the Athens marathon. So glad we did. Firstly do not be put off by reviews of Omonia. It is perfectly safe and hotel is on South side of Omonia and right by Kotzia Square, which is beautiful. Short walk to Acropolis and Agora plus lots of restaurants. Obviously like in all cities, keep your wits about you.
Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful, thank you so much. Bedrooms comfortable and amazing shower.
Back to the marathon. Hotel laid on a special dinner menu the night before, especially to carbo load! On the day itself breakfast was available from 5.30 as well as water, yoghurt, fruit and cereal bars by the entrance for you to take with you to start, very nice touch. Short walk to one of the bus pickup points for transfer to Marathon where the race starts.
Once again thank you to all the amazing staff and we will definitely stay here again f we visit Athens again, which I am sure we will.

It looks very good on the web(good photoshop)and a litle disappointing en real,the room(premium graffiti room)is good size but spent,the bathroom is even worse(plastic curtain,flexible shower tube broke)and with poor amenities.The reception crew is polite and eficient,but i did not feel the greek warmness.There are almost no facilities.The location is not the best either.The best of this place is the breakfest,lots of items and the real greek feeling with the staff(really good)This hotel would be better off with one star and 40 euros less.Greetings

Great location between two metro stations (the closest one being Omonia) in the heart of Athens, this hotel fulfills one of the basic requirements anybody looks for whilst booking a hotel - location.
After entering the reception hall it becomes clear that this is an artsy place. You might feel like entering a modern art gallery, and you wouldn't be far from being right. A lot of the things in display are for sale. A lot of things look kitch as well (if you're a FRIENDS TV show fan, think of the way Joey decorated his apartment after moving out from Chandlers place). With an odd five finger shapped leather couch, through various small things just oddly placed around the area. If they don't start selling any of that soon, it will become a modern art horders nest.
Our room had a disappointing view on a in a ruin like state office building that's located just next to the hotel. At least the street was quiet, yet looking out of the window was something to be avoided in general. We heard each room was different in design. I guess ours was not that important as it only had some nature paintings on the wall of very low quality, and a few graffitti like words regarding nature. It looked more like a mess than anything thought through. We also had two poisonous mushroom shapped bed lamps that gave very little light, and took most of the bed side table, so basicaly useless.
Besides the decor the amenities in the room were great, and super comfortable beds, and a very pleasing bathroom. Room service was great as well.
And delicious breakfast!
So if you're looking for a good place in Athens, with great food, and happen to like modern art, this is definitely a place to consider. Just avoid the mushroom lamped room (if you can request in the lobby ;) ).

Amazing place to book at, great staff and wonderful view. we booked this hotel as our second time in Athens. hotel in a good location. the service is very good with a delicious breakfast. the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Thank you!
