There was foul smell on the walls (sealan smell), they spray air freshners to suppress the smell. Room was booked with extra bed, but the room they provided was very small to accommodate the extra bed. When we contacted they Hotel booking portal, then we were shifted to some what bigger room which can accommodate the extra bed. Towels were dirty/ uncleaned. Toilets were also not cleaned. No wifi, even though booked with wifi. There was no room service. Staff was very Rude.
Complementary Breakfast was third class:- Only options were Idali sambher & Raw Bread with butter/ jam & Tea/ Coffey. (one day Coffey was also not available).
Only positive side was better location. You can find shops & 2 restaurants nearby.

No hot water working in shivering temperatures, view from window totally useless and TV also not working. Shelves had dust and wall paint was eroded at many places. Moreover the hotel staff was unapologetic and refused to lower money. As we had booked the hotel online, they used that to their advantage. Terrible !!!

Hotel is located far from the city it is a proxy 9km from the city. The rooms were not clean, the TV was also not working. The thing I liked was we can see a good view from the hotel. The breakfast was also not good.

Positive: Outer look, outside the room.
Negative:
1. Inside the room you fill find one wooden cupboard, terrible smell with black dots.
2. You want to watch TV, every time call them, they can only start the TV in all the five rooms. Twice, they were also not able to help.
3. Hot water- Don't expect from tap. Ask them to deliver it in room, if they are free, they will give you.
4. Bed- Not clean. very very bad.
5. No lift facility.
6. Room walls are with black dots and bad smell.
But the room boys try their maximum to help all. they could not. they can not.
Such worst experience.
Please, do not book through cleartrip, because, we booked some other room, they offered this bad hotel. till last minute they did not send the E-Voucher. Very Very bad service from cleartrip. Just name sake they run the show. They do not have any intention to serve us and get money. Once money is received by them we have to call, call and again call. They are very cool, by saying the rooms are not available.

Highly recommended if you wish to spent time in untidy, unhygienic room.
I booked executive room and was surprised to see the size of the room. Quality of bed was very poor, it was wet and when I complained staff told me that beds are like this only.
Breakfast was very bad. We were given only idli sambhar which we prefer not to eat when we saw plates and spoons given to us were not clean.
Staff is pathetic. I told them to bring the dinner at 9 and he came to my room at 7:30 with dinner saying "Sir your order was very simple so cook made it first. Please take it right now otherwise it will get cold."
Please dont believe pictures of room they have given and do not waste money. Munnar is very nice place you dont want to end your day in this type of hotel.
