We stayed for 3 nights when over for the Italian Grand Prix. Suited us just fine. Good location, very close to major train station and easy walking distance from pretty much anything in central Milan.
Room was fine, very rustic. Everything worked. Bed ok, good shower. Nice included breakfast. Friendly staff.
Enjoyed our stay.

Better on booking.com than reality , they gave it 3 star, I'd give it a 2
Beds from roman times, no tea facilities in room, air con didn't work.
Redeeming feature kind and very pleasant staff, great free breakfast and price was good. It was a one night late stopover, wouldn't choose it for more than that.

We only spent one night here when arrived in Milan. I'll start with the positives. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and even included gluten free items which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, the bathroom adequate and the air-conditioning worked well. I won't critique the decor, you can judge that yourself. The negative, our bed was truly awful and it felt like I was sleeping on a concrete slab. For this reason alone I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

This hotel is the opposite of a big chain hotel. You get to know the staff (who are very helpful) and the rooms have antique furniture - yet comfortable, modern beds! There is a nice buffet breakfast in the morning. We love to come here when in Milan.

We had a max budget per night for our weekend-getaway, and San Guido was the only place that came up that also is located in Central Milano. We were very satisfied with the rooms, service, breakfast and not least the location of the place. If there was only one thing we missed that would have made the experience 100% perfect, than it would have been if they have had a view from the rooms, but all in all a very nice and comfy place to stay in the heart of Milan.
