Spectacular hotel that has not been well maintained but good value, not really for if you want to do business in the city as it is too far. Communicating in English a bit of a problem, but staff are very accommodating.

I stay 7 days for a week long business trip. At first my expectation for the place is this hotel just like some normal hotel i stayed in China. But man, i really surprised when step a step inside the lobby. Everything was great, service, staffs, rooms, breakfast, especially the view. Definitely gonna stay again!

Stayed at this hotel for 4 night on a business trip. According to the hotel staff, this hotel was built 10 years ago. Therefore it's a little dated on some detailed. Although it is not an official 5 star hotel, but it was built on 5 star standards back then.
Hotel lobby is impressive with European decor, which was a luxury trend 10 years ago. Room was massive. Probably the size of executive room in some western countries hotels.
Some furniture was looking a bit old. Room seemed to be a little dark too.
The bathroom wasn't too bad but definitely needs some renovation to bring it back to current age. Glass vanity and basin were just too ugly.
Breakfast hall was impressive too. Options were varied from Chinese to bread to noodles and salads.
Location is quite far from Guangzhou city, about 1 hour drive. Hotel is situated in a big residential development area. Some restaurants are nearby too.
Overall happy with the stay.

I stayed here during business trip for 17 days. The location is like a small Venice. The hotel room was very clean and the service was great. Little far from the city but taxi can be found outside of the hotel. The staff speaks English therefore check in and out was no issue. Definitely will stay again.

The first impression you get as you enter the lobby is that it's a copy of the Venetian Macau except smaller.
The rooms are nice enough - large with a small sitting room. Bathroom is huge with a extremely large walk in shower but no bath. I would rate it 5 star.
I did not have time to use the amenities on site and cannot comment on them.
Breakfast was alright but lacked the choices that you would find at most international hotels. There was more Chinese food on offer than Western and the quality was average at best.
Location is far away from the city. Without a car you would be doomed as there is no public transport and shops nearby. This is the kind of place you would go to to relax and escape from the city. Definitely not the base to use to explore Guangzhou.
Overall there are probably better hotel options on the city.
