I have been going here for YEARS as have many other backpackers I know that come through SPS. Dos Molinos is a SPS staple for travelers of all sorts. Luis was ALWAYS there to pick us up/drop us off no matter what time with a smile and a joke. I absolutely love this guest house and cannot recommend this place highly enough! It is very comfortable and safe place to stay with resonable prices. Travellers feel more like family than customers :) BOTTOM LINE: LOVE LOVE LOVE this place

This guesthouse has a 2017 award from Trip Advisor. Blanca's husband died suddenly a few months ago and she is running the place on her own, with a few friends and family. When I asked if she wanted me to check in the night I arrived, she ushered me to my room and told me not to worry, she wanted me to rest. When I asked the next morning if she needed to see my passport, she said no, only good people stay with her. Are you one of the good people?

We stayed with Blanca for one night at Dos Molinos. The location is easy walking to facilities, shops and sights. We much prefer places like this to big hotels because you meet locals who put you in touch with the town. The guesthouse is basic but clean and very friendly. Breakfast is cooked eggs and toast with fruit, fresh brewed coffee, better than most American coffee Australians are appalled by! We can recommend this place and wil stay again.

We have had two stays at Dos Molinos now and they have been great. Taxi's or rides arranged to and from the airport/bus station they make it very easy for us with no hassle at all. Lovely family too :-)

I just stayed at Dos Molinos for the fifth time, and I will return again! As usual, the rooms were comfortable and adequate for our needs. We had good air conditioning. Blanca and Luis were as gracious as always. Blanca prepares delicious eggs, toast, or pancakes for breakfast and Luis provides excellent transportation to/from the airport and bus station. I brought friends along this time, and they enjoyed their stay as well. I also hosted two different groups of guests, and the proprietors did not object to us entertaining them quietly in the lobby. Another excellent stay!
