Easy location & accommodation

We stayed here on a trip to the snow, snow time is family time for us which means no tv & someone else cooks. Habitat fit the bill perfectly.
Sure it's not a 5 star resort, but it is a ski lodge, a comfy bed, hot showers, warm room, good food, somewhere to dry ski gear and easy to get to.
We will be back, can we make a special request for tempura vegetables next time!
Beautiful location, friendly people

I booked at Habitat mostly because the price was more reasonable than other non-Jindabyne hotels, but really enjoyed my stay in a 6-bed room. Arnie was organised and friendly and kindly accommodating when I had to change my dates. The area is stunning and the stars so beautiful. Quick trip to the Ski Tube.
Despite the reviews I read, the showers were great and did NOT run out of hot water. You can have dinner in the restaurant for $35pp which was good food, and nice not to get back in the car to go out again after a day on the snow.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, I would stay again for sure.
Wonderful!!!!

It was my first time staying here and I was more than satisfied! The staff were amazing, very down to earth, and friendly. They made an effort to get to know us personally and they were very easy to talk to, creating a very fun atmosphere for us.
The room definitely met my expectations with very comfortable beds and a nice shower. The facilities were lovely, with a communal lounge around an open fire and the food was fantastic! Huge thank you to Luke who put enormous effort into every meal :)
The surroundings were quite beautiful, especially after it had snowed, it looked like a classic Winter Wonderland :)
I felt very welcome and comfortable and it was the perfect accommodation for our ski holiday.
Thank you Luke and Virginia for a wonderful week and I'll see you again!!
Our new go-to place for skiing accommodation

Exactly what we needed for our ski holiday. When the kids were young we had to spend thousands to stay at Thredbo. Habitat is an easy 20 min drive from Thredbo. We loved the social communal meal time and the food was superb. It also meant we did not need to worry about any meals. And it cost a tiny fraction of staying on the snow. The staff are friendly and interested. We will definitely come here again. I see there are a couple of bad reviews. This could only be from people who mistakenly thought they had booked a 5 star hotel on the snow at St Moritz. Excellent value and better than we expected.
Amazing

Great room, came with 5 people 3 on the bunks 2 in the bed, great food every night and day, good food for the kids, great service and overall everything was great.
You can pay $2000 a night in thredbo or you can stay here for way cheaper.
