This hotel is in a colonial-style building within the old town of Campeche. It didn't have the same feeling as the haciendas in the countryside, there was something not right here. The rooftop bar could have been nice at one time but is now abandoned, the bar was deserted at night as was the hotel restaurant. For a city-centre hotel it felt dead, certainly no locals were staying here only tourists. Campeche is a lovely town, but if I returned I'd stay in one of the more modern hotels, which are all much, much cheaper.

Excellent location, inside the old city, nearby restaurants and nearby Chocol´Ha café (by the way incredible place for a quick tea in the afternoon). Good hotel, big rooms, nice service staff. Possibly the best place to stay in Campeche. Don't forget to have dinner in La Pigua restaurant, not in the neighborhood but you must go.

Cesar Vergara is the Resident Manager who leads the way in creating a wonderful atmosphere. We follow Cesar wherever he goes because he knows how to inspire his staff to provide a unique and special guest experience. We first met Cesar at Hacienda San Jose several years ago and were blown away by the genuine and uplifting customer service we received. We have since visited Hacienda Temozon, where Cesar instilled his magic. Now Cesar is in the city of Campeche. We are now super fans of the Luxury Collection Haciendas in the Yucatan. We highly recommended a visit to any or all of them.

When we drove up to the hotel which is located next to the old wall in Centro I was a bit disappointed---very unassuming. We walked in and my opinion changed. We were met with a cold tropical drink and cold cloth. There is old polished wood and bright colors. Heading for our room we walked through a beautiful courtyard and by a pool which meanders through old walls from the original building. Our room was large with a modern bathroom and very comfy bed. The dining room is outside and the food was delicious. Service everywhere was wonderful. Thanks to all the staff.

Me and the bf had a great stay at this hotel, our room was number 7, and doors opened straining to the pool which is amazing, I think that's the best room they have. Breakfast at their restaurant was great as well; I would recommend huevos motuleños. Everything was just great.
