Hampton Inn in Charlottesville is situated in a perfect location for family and patients who need to visit the UVA hospital facilities. I have stayed here before when my mother was a patient and now needed to stay here for my father. I am very pleased with the location, amenities, room, and 'homey feeling' of the Hampton Inn. The Shuttle Service is a BIG BONUS!

We checked in early for a wedding and were given a different room without questions. Staff was always very friendly during interactions and concerned about guestscomfort. Great hotel and would recommend to anyone needing to stay close to University.

Rooms are exceptionally clean and hotel staff is great. The breakfast hostess during our visit was very friendly and helpful. Always my first choice when in Charlottesville for my work at the hospital.

We were travelling through multiple cities in a week and when we left this hotel, I was sad that we were only staying in Charlottesville for a single night because we were so comfortable with our accommodations there. This was a perfect hotel for my husband and I and our two grown sons. There was plenty of space. The full kitchen was a great bonus and enabled us to store and heat up our leftovers from eating out. Everything was perfectly clean and convenient.
I simply cannot say enough about the friendly people who work there. Every person we encountered was just lovely. I wish I had caught their names, but we checked in at night on Monday, October 16 and the two women who were at the front desk that night were so pleasant and helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable.
The location of this hotel is great too. There are many places to eat within easy walking distance of the hotel. It was great to find a pizza place and a chinese place open late night directly across the street. We got in late and I was just sure we were going to be stuck with fast food or something.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Charlottesville. If I am ever back in that area, I will certainly stay there again.

Stayed here with family and friends for a wedding in nearby Keswick. It was the perfect location close to The University and the downtown mall. The large lobby was a great location for gathering and the morning breakfast was a great way to celebrate after the wedding. There was at least one other wedding party there as well and they handled all of us very well. The rooms were very nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There was ample free parking with easy access to the hotel. Would definitely recommend it for anyone headed to Charlottesville.
