Nice place to stay clean room decent breakfast easy in easy out . Construction in progress but you only could tell by the plywood frame over the eantrance
Will stay there again on the return trip and will recommend

Hard to find a parking spot because of the many trucks with long trailers taking up so many spots. After going through construction to get inside, hotel looked nice and front desk person was friendly. Room had some problems. Light in front of room didn't work. Went to get new bulb, but found that there was no place to plug the lamp in: only one double outlet in front of room, and 4 appliances already plugged it. Housekeeping had left trash on floors of bedroom and bath. At breakfast, eggs and sausage were good, and Texas-shaped waffles were cute, but milk was spoiled and left a bad taste for breakfast. Really didn't enjoy our stay there. They have a lot of problems to overcome.

Had cut vacay short due to unexpected death in family. Long haul home from breckenridge back to Houston stopped in Childress. Front staff was so kind and helpful. Room was oversized and sufficient which was nice. But mold spots on restroom wall, tub drained super slow, and AC needs upgrading to Cool whole room not just freeze out sofa bed.

Regardless of what direction you are traveling after hours of beautiful open land its nice to find a hotel that was built in 2009 but still looks new. They are constantly upgrading as they are presently doing to the lobby entrance but it doesn't effect you stay.
The room seems spacious with a King bed,, good size work table, flat screen tv, sofa with table in front, microwave, fridge and night stands. The shower area is the full size of a bath tub and you could spend the day in the great pressure and hot water shower.
A breakfast is provided that has waffles, fresh fruit, cereal., yogurt, hard boiled eggs and sausage patties. We were not impressed with the quality.
We were in room 322 and heard no noise.

Nice folks, facility, and breakfast. Make sure your room is on the back side of the hotel and across the street from the Walmart. Otherwise, there is a lot of noise 24/7 from a truck stop at the other end of the property. Don’t be put off by the construction at the front entrance as it is no problem. We would stay here again.
