The best hotel in Jackson city, Mississippi is Hampton Inn & Suites located in Coliseum! Totally rebuilded with nice decoration and very comfortable and new and modern furniture! The bathroom is very pretty with glass box!

I was never told when I booked that this hotel was under construction. Only when I went to the front door with my bags in hand and saw a "Under construction, use side door" sign did I find out. Then I walked around almost the entire building to find the side door I was to use! The next morning due to the construction I could not find the breakfast area and no staff member seemed to care. Not happy.

There was a lot of construction I mean a lot of construction all in all once it’s done I think this will be a great place to stay the staff was great they did the best that they could do under the circumstances come stay here in two weeks it will be great

We went in knowing they were in the works of remodeling, which was just fine as they were only finishing up the bottom floor. We were in a newly redone room on the top floor. Upon entering the room, there was paper and glitter all over our floor as if no floor cleaning was done, then as I inspected the Bedding we found hairs on the sheets and the bedding itself had a damp feel to it. In the morning we had dropped an item and when we looked to get it found a pair of underwear behind the bed!!

When we arrived early morning hours and walked into the Lobby, I was "HORRIFIED" by what I saw!!!! But then, I found out their was remodeling going on and the lobby was the last part to be remodeled!! WHEW!!! I went up to our Suite and I was just impressed with it! Lots of room and the cleanliness of it!!!! The A/C wasn't working at first but then I called the front desk and they got it fixed PRONTO!!! It was very quiet and close to my college campus!
