Not up to the standard of other Hampton Inns
PWalkon 19/11/2017 05:32I've stayed in a number of Hampton Inns around the country, and most of them deliver above any beyond expectations. Unfortunately, this one was the least impressive. It felt old and dated, although they have tried to remedy that through various quick fixes.
It was a simply an average hotel, but nothing at all special. (However, I will say that the staff was very kind and accommodating.) I just wish they would update this property.
No Longer a Hampton Inn
Trenda Bon 13/10/2017 23:16The name has changed to Hotel Bellingham Airport. It was previously a Hampton Inn. The rooms were clean, neat, and had all the amenities. Breakfast was okay, but not the usual Hampton Breakfast. The staff was friendly and very informative about things to do in the area. We would stay here again.
Certainly not a Hampton Inn
leogmichaelon 08/10/2017 16:07The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was actually pretty decent with good choices and fresh food but the hotel felt like it had been sold by Hampton Inns just in time to avoid a major remodel. Everything felt old. It was reasonably clean.
I booked through Expedia and we were given a room on the first floor facing the street. The clerk said if it was too noisy to let her know and she would relocate us. Why not just give us a better room to begin with?
The price was excellent. We needed a room to catch an early flight. It definitely served the purpose but was average at best.
No longer a Hampton
KHorneon 05/10/2017 01:54We booked this hotel thinking it was a Hampton Inn. When we arrived, found out the hotel was no longer a Hampton as of July 1....still trying to get my Hampton points as I booked this through Hampton. Not a bad hotel, very clean, nice breakfast, still Hampton touches when we stayed on Sept 20. Good location off I=5, clean and quiet.
Not Hampton but still great hotel
OzzieinLAon 03/10/2017 22:49Having seen a few bad reviews, we were not sure about this place. However, after I called and had a great conversation (I'm sorry, can't remember your name but you very nicely made sure we were rebooked), we felt better. The hotel is close to the airport (hubby was able to easily walk back after dropping off our rental car). Brian at the desk was fantastic, very helpful, super friendly. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The hotel does not have a restaurant but Mykonos is a superb Greek-American restaurant less than 5 minute's walk away.
The hotel has a coin laundry, a godsend for us in the middle of our 12 day trip.
The hotel has a shuttle that will drop off or pick up from the airport, ferry terminal and/or Amtrak station (just make sure the driver is clear where you are going - we had a little confusion between 'ferry terminal' and 'Amtrak').
