Came back from a wedding, and my wife's I Pad was gone from our room. Hotel staff was less than helpful, like it was no big deal. Told us all we could do was file a police report ..... After all this, we had a loose pipe in wall knocking all night. Thank you Hampton Inn !!

This Hampton Inn did not meet my expectations, due to my encounter with BED BUGS. I was bitten several times and have pictures to prove it. I would not recommend this Hampton Inn to anyone until this Hampton has been FULLY renovated from top to bottom. There is no reason for guest to ever have to deal with this type of situation, no matter if it is an older Hampton Inn. The competition is building new hotels down the street.

Overall, the best place for us to stay and be totally satisfied with the location, the cleanliness of room, quietness and staff friendliness. The front desk is always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a good one.

When I needed a place to stay in Birmingham, I opted for this Hampton Inn because of the location and because I have heard very positive reviews of Hampton Inns in general. I was not disappointed. Friendly, knowledgeable, and patient staff. Wonderful free breakfast. Variety of foods, from eggs, to waffles, to oatmeal, fresh fruit, and a lot in between. Everything tasted free. Also loved the 24/7 free coffee and tea in the lobby. My room was very clean and inviting. I was solo, but there were quite a few business guests, including one who said she was a regular here. Great amenities, including a mini fridge, microwave, in-room coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board, and iron. Anything I might need but didn't want to pack. I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommend.

Front desk staff excellent, room okay, breakfast not so much. Several items moldy or spoiled. Overall, because of location, would stay her again. Otherwise, probably not. The beds were very comfortable.
