First stay in Halifax/Dartmouth area and chose the Hampton Inn. It did not disappoint. The location is great for finding various nearby dining establishments. The room was very spacious with lovely big windows to offer maximum brightness and view. The décor was modern and not showing any wear. Breakfast was consistent with other Hampton Inns which I have found to be better than the average complimentary breakfast. Overall great stay and comfort.

Have stayed here for every Halifax visit since this hotel opened. Great hotel with friendly staff and all the amenities for business or leisure travel. Ideally located for walking access to all the best venues/restaurants etc in Halifax.Rooms are ultra modern with higher end fixtures and furnishings.

Hotel had was very nice, clean and well decorated. it was good value for the money. Very centrally located with good parking. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about Halifax. We would stay here again for business or pleasure.

Very nice hotel. Our room was quite large and very clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was included. Location is great - close enough to downtown to walk and easy to drive to other areas from there's

I am regularly staying Hilton hotel and always has a good experience but at this Hampton Inn, my check-in experience was terrible. I missed my invoice and getting a copy of the invoice was next to impossible. I was transferred from one person to another person and each person repeated the same list of questions to verify my identity. After struggling for more than 20 minutes, I was able to reach the correct person. It may be an isolated experience but I will prefer to avoid Hampton inn downtown Halifax.
