This hotel is clean and quiet! Fantastic staff. You are close to everything and can be downtown in just minutes. You definitely would not make a wrong move by staying here. If you want that feeling of being at home this is the place for you.

To start with the positives. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good and well stocked with the dining area nice and clean. Close to shops and within walking distance to a Wholefoods supermarket where we grabbed a takeaway dinner. The downfall for us sadly was the room itself. It was perfectly clean and nicely stocked with toiletries but it was poky. Neither of us cared for the sliding door and consequent gaps to the bathroom. Not very discreet or private. The curtain hiding the ironing board and hangars was supposed to be our wardrobe? It all felt very claustrophobic and we were glad it was only a short stay. It’s a shame that a room design dropped this hotel down a point.

With two children playing sports in college we travel every weekend. Sometimes it's hard for me to remember which hotel we stayed in last night. The Hampton Inn Charlottesville on India Rd,Stonewall Jackson Hotel will not be forgotten. Great room, bath and mattress. One of the best continental breakfast I can remember having. Staff wonderful and accommodating. Hotel was fresh, attention to detail, people very nice, immaculate .

Staff is helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Convenient to everything. Internet access was good. Housekeeping service is great. Room was quiet and comfortable. Front desk always welcomes me warmly. Good place.

Well, this is easy. Driving in late, tired, hungry, and really ready to stop after a long travel day, we pull into this new Hampton looking for a room.
Front desk: friendly, quick, helpful. No reservation? No problem.
Room: clean, comfortable, straightforward, quiet.
And a late dinner at a nearby eatery with a voucher from Hampton: high marks for welcoming service and food to match.
And the next day, the free breakfast at the Hampton: a good quick start for the road.
So, Hampton continues to deliver friendly, fairly-priced, no-fuss, comfortable accommodations for the traveler.
Amazing. Service with a smile.
