Room 222 is right across from icemaker. On Nov 11th, every one on the second floor must’ve filled a 5-gallon bucket at least 29 times! Exaggerating a bit, but the noise was horrendous and l got very little sleep.
At most hotels, ice makers are enclosed with vending machInes in a room with a door for the purpose of controlling/eliminating noise.
Not much around this hotel except for other hotels.

Nice moderately priced hotel on Hwy 19 in Cherokee. It is on the other side of Cherokee from the casino. We weren't in Cherokee for the casino so that wasn't a problem. Access to the Smoky Mountains as well as Blue Ridge Parkway is very easy from this hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast in the morning. Try their little cinnamon rolls. They are their specialty! Would stay here again if ever in the area.

We always stay at Hampton Inn's. By far, this is the cleanest property we have stayed at in a very long time. It's obvious, housekeeping takes pride in their job. Even the lightbulbs were free of dust! The bed was very comfortable and the extra seating/ with laptop table was a nice touch. Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold items and was well stocked.

Our stay at this hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable bed; has refrigerator & microwave; great staff. Breakfast was good and plenty of variety. We only had one night to stay, but would have no problem staying at this property again.

My wife and I took a leisure trip to north Georgia and the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. We visited the Bryson City Trail and Railroad for our excursion. The Parkway was shut down due to snow flurries and ice on the road. The weather was cooler and the leaves were just beginning to transition into their fall color displays. We had a great stay and enjoyed the local areas. We will return again next year.
