Everything was great except the staff did not help in stopping noise in the hallway even after we requested help from them. We had to threaten to call the Colby Police Dept ourselves. My first disappointment with the Hampton Inn system

As the old saying goes "Out in the Middle of Now Where", very much applies to this hotel property. Checking in, the person was a little rough around the edges, but none the less got me a room. The property was sold out for that night, and with good reason. It is well kept, and the breakfast lady was very friendly

Colby Kansas is located for the most part as the old saying goes ("out in the middle of no where"), however that said the property is very nice. I was told at check in, the property was actually sold out for that night, and with good reason. The lady in charge of breakfast went out of her way to be friendly. They do however need another banana supplier, they were so overripe not sure you could have made banana bread out of them. That said nice place.

Everything is smaller here. It is a Hampton "small" meaning no fridge, no microwave, small breakfast but normal prices. Clerk was friendly. Had to notify her that security latch on door falling off due to loose screws, rubber strip on door bottom falling off and all exercise equipment out of order. Had reserved two beds, got one queen instead and had to change rooms. Too much wrong to ever stay here again.

My husband and I spent one night here on our way home from trip out west. It is a nice hotel...clean and comfortable. Our room was small with no refrigerator which I like to have when traveling. Also, no nearby restaurants but we did have a good hamburger at a local bar, Twisters, fairly close. Breakfast was ok...standard. I would recommend but as I mentioned....not many food choices outside hotel and no refrigerator...at least in our room...you could ask.
