Great location, friendly staff and great food and drinks at the bar/restaurant Martini on Main. Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and ready to help. Room was good size, bed (king) comfortable with large bathroom and stocked with what may be needed.

Room was clean and staff friendly. Room was very small probably because the building is an old building that has been renovated. Nothing to make this hotel stand out from any other. One of the two elevators did not work during my brief stay.

Had a stop over in Freeport IL and booked the Hampton Inn because it had everything I was looking for. Free breakfast, parking, internet and a gym with weights. Every part of the facility that I was in was clean. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. The on site restaurant was a nice place to relax and the food was fantastic. The breakfast has enough variety to meet the needs of different dietary concerns. Delicious coffee all day was just an added perk!

We spent the first night at Baymont Inn and Suites and were saved when we could check into the Hampton Inn and Suites for the remainder of our vacation. Hampton Inn and Suites was a much better value for the money and service.

didn't feel welcome, and the customers seemed a bit shady, including those outside the door on the sidewalk. didn't get offered a drink/snack even though i'm gold member. the room was okay, but didn't feel inviting - can't put my finger on it. I don't think i'll return.
