Over priced and charge extra for children

Stayed here for one night, we were on our way home from Florida to Boston. We were traveling with our 3 year old granddaughter. We were charged an extra $10, for her. We have stayed in different Choice Hotels including Quality Inns
with our grandchildren and have never been charged extra. The women at the front desk was rude and unfriendly.
The rooms were not clean the bath tub looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Not a place you would give a child a bath. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible breakfast and the waffle maker was broken.
Clean, but needs renovating

Looking for a place to stay, this facility had been recommended. Price was higher than online, but we needed to sleep, so we paid the extra. All rooms are non-smoking, but our neighbors decided to smoke outside their room (instead of designated smoking area that the motel provides) which, of course, came streaming into our room through the cracks in the doorway (not sealed well.) Neighbors kept slamming their door and speaking loudly outside until about 2am, so I wouldn't say this was a quiet motel. Curtains wouldn't close completely, but luckily I happened to have a clothespin to shut them. Air conditioning worked well, clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of pillows. Glad they had a refrigerator with a freezer to keep our things cold. Good pressure in shower. Breakfast was good.Outside stairway was rusty, old, a little scary to walk on. Not bad, but not worth the price. We don't plan on staying here again.
ANOTHER CLEAN, SECURE, FREINDLY STAY.

Hotel clerk super friendly.Checked in non smoking, bottom floor room and that's what we got.Up close parking no problem. Our pets felt at home.We ordered pizza,to tired to go out.Papa johns pizza was good, delivered to the room hot,and fresh.Secure stay,no worries. We would stay there again. It's hard finding a nice for people and pets.
Maybe the worst ever; no TV, no ice, no (promised) breakfast

Ten hours of driving and we didn't feel like "hunting" for a decent place to stay. The internet said, "clean, $86.00, breakfast." This was perhaps one of the most filthy places I have ever experienced. Cigarette butts in the hallways, peeling paint, rusting stair casings and on and on. Too tired to argue with the front desk about a broken ice machine, a TV that would not work, and their lies about breakfast, we stayed. I think it's a crime that a traveler can't go to a reliable internet site, get truthful information, and not be fed a line of ____.
Advertised price not honored, dirty...disappointed

We were on the road looking for a place to crash for the night off 95 in Lumberton and it was recommended at the Visitor Center to stay at the Quality Inn. They gave us an ad with a nightly rate for two and a coupon for an additional $20 off if you filled it out. Well, the hotel rate was $30 more than the advertisement with the explanation they didn't have those rooms available anymore (but mind you, it's not a special room). They wouldn't even honor a lower internet price. We did get the $20 off. We were so tired; had been driving 10 hours.
The bed was clean and comfortable otherwise I would have left. There were still dirty water rings on the bedside table. There was a very large hair in the tub (wasn't going anywhere near that!). The rooms say they have a refrigerator but apparently ours didn't work and when we opened it the smell was horrible! Closed that really fast.
Extremely disappointed as I've stayed at other Choice Hotels. There were so many other options in Lumberton and unfortunately I was swayed by a "good deal". I can't even say you get what you pay for because it was overpriced, dirty and not worth it. Live and learn.
