We stayed here when we drove up to drop our daughter off for college! Staff is nice and welcoming. They let us keep our daughter's bike behind the front desk so that we didn't have to worry about leaving it in the truck. Room was comfy and breakfast was great! My daughter left jewelry behind in the room and we went back hours later and they had it for us! Will definitely stay here on our future trips to UCSC :)

I thought this Hampton Inn was not quite up to par for the Hampton Brand name. The room was average and the breakfast was okay. We were on vacation and we could have chosen another location. If we come back to CA, I would choose another hotel in a different town.

Easy to get to, plenty of parking and the hotel is clean and well maintained. The check in was easy and the room was very comfortable with all the required amenities. Was a little noisy at night as there are some major roads close by. It's next to a Denny's which is convenient. Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was up to standard.

I have stayed at many Hampton Inn's but this one by far is the best I have every stayed at! The service was excellent and I was extremely happy staying there. The rooms where refurbished and well designed, the rooms were clean, the beds were not too firm not too soft, just right. I can name a few Hampton Inn's that need to look at the level of service this one provides and emulate it. When I return to Santa Cruz I will be staying at this Hampton Inn!

Just stayed one night on our way down the coast. Clean hotel, in the process of being updated, as seen at the rear of the hotel where ripped out bathroom fittings were in the car park, the only negative thing about the hotel. Room very comfortable. Breakfast adequate with a nice seating area to eat it. Easy to get to Santa Cruz boardwalk and nearby Capitola where there is a mall.
