Urine stains

Urine stains in the bed, pee smell in the room. Mattress was covered in pee. We arrived at 3cst and didn’t get our room till 5.
We booked 2 months out and choose our 2 rooms on the digital check in and didn’t get the rooms we picked.
Disappointing this time.

This hotel is under renovations and unfortunately we were placed in a room that obviously had not been finished, patched ceiling in bath, patches in main room, wall paint slopped on ceiling and unpleasant odor. So much difficulty with thermostat, it was ridiculous. Room should not have been used. I will say as in the past the staff was terrific and were just as nice this time, breakfast room was clean and food was very good. We were told prior to coming that the fitness room and pool were not available due to renovation nothing about the rooms.
Unsafe/Unhealthy Conditions

The reasons to support this bad hotel experience is due in part to ongoing hotel renovations and management deciding to open to the general public while the renovations are ongoing. This hotel is in bad need of work, however to put patrons at risk is never a great idea or worth the risk. As a result of unsafe conditions during my stay, this hotel is receiving a bad evaluation. to clear the air, my room and my room conditions were above average, however when i stepped out of the elevator onto the third floor I noticed a very foul odor, believe it or not plumbers having just left the building left a ice machine drain open allowing poisonous Methane gas at a high risk level to pollute the elevator lobby enough so to cause myself to have a severe headache. Had management closed the floor this may not have been a problem, neither did they offer to refund me or move me to another floor, very tired and needing a rest I risk it and stayed, had a negative outcome occurred it would have been the fault of the hotel. Thankfully no negative outcome. Hotel just does not need to put people at the level of risk. Not like Hampton or Hilton to normally do this, sorry for bad publicity but all is the truth. Shared this with PM manager.
Remodel nightmare

Stayed here for one night. Thank goodness it was only one night. When we arrived at hotel there were construction vehicles all ove the back of the hotel. Upon arriving at the 5 th floor, it actually looked like there was no way they would put guest on this floor. There was wallpaper pulled off and taped up above the doors. It looked horrible. The room was ok, very austere, sterile decor. My husband was awoken at 8 am to construction noises outside our window, on a Sunday morning. When he spoke to the front desk they did offer a small discount on the room, but I feel that they should not be offering these rooms until they are of at the very least adequate standard. Poor experience. Would not recommend until the renovation is complete.
The whole place is a mess. Remodeling being performed in a very sloppy fashion. Most facilities closed.

The Hampton reservation system didn't mention that the property was being remodeled. I picked the room on line. The curtains didn't work. The sprinkler head was not functional ( I know because I'm in the business). The tub was dirty. There wasn't any hot water until after 5:30pm so I couldn't take a shower when I checked in.
