We have always had great stays at this hotel. This time was no exception. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The biggest downside of this visit was the very large birthday party happening in the pool area. There were people everywhere from about 3pm - 7pm. I would suggest limiting birthday parties to smaller groups to allow hotel guests to still enjoy the pool area as well.
The kiddie slide had been changed out since our last visit and looked great. I love that this pool area is great for people of all ages. They even have a large mushroom thingy for babies (check out the pictures online since I don't know what this is called).
We enjoy being able to get a suite with a separate bedroom so our young children can go to sleep earlier than us. The view was beautiful as always of the lake.
Breakfast was great with lots of selection and attentive and friendly staff.
Our room had a couple of issues; thermostat in bedroom would only go up, sink had a little stray that kept getting the floor wet) but the front desk staff seemed to take note of the issues when we let them know as we checked out.

Very clean, great staff, good food. Great for children! Beautiful view of Lake Bemidji. The pool area is great for small children and the hot tub goes outdoors! The sauna was great and everything was very clean.

I stay in Hilton properties over 140 nights per year and this property is in my top three nationwide. From Anthony to Taylor to the GM, Andrew and all the other wonderful employees, it truly IS them who make this property such a perfect place to stay.

When I found that the hotel was in the middle of a major update I did not expect a lot. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it would have absolutely no impact upon my comfort and enjoyment. The free breakfast was well-stocked and fresh. Lobby and breakfast area were quiet, always clean, and very tastefully appointed. The room was everything I have come to expect from Hampton (quiet, clean, well-maintained, etc.) - and my room was one that had not yet been updated! I should mention that the good maintenance may come from they way their work-order system operates. Each guest gets a sheet that looks like a work order, on which the guest can point out the little imperfections, such as damaged grout on the bathroom floor. By the next night, the floor is fixed. One of the nights I stayed there were a large number of families with young kids, so I expected noise. There was none. The sound proofing is apparently very good.

Hotel was booked by my office, was here for business. Clean hotel, sandwiched between two lakes. Bemidji and Irving. Behind the hotel is lake Bemidji with shoreline access. Really nice view from the conference room also. Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable. So it was a really nice stay.
