I was here with my fiance for a friend's wedding from a Friday-Sunday. We were one of 9 wedding blocks and there was a Seton Hall event and another wedding happening at the hotel itself. This meant the lobby was kind of loud at times, but the stay itself was still pretty nice.
The room was pretty standard, but had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable as I'd expect from a full-service Marriott. Room was spacious and nice.
I really liked the bar downstairs. The bar is pretty big for a hotel bar and I'd say about 20-30 of our wedding party were comfortably hanging out near the center and left part of the bar.
We didn't order room service. As a Marriott Gold member though, they did let me know that I could get comped snacks from the store near the front desk, since there wasn't a concierge lounge. Not sure if there's a limit on that, but that was nice of them. I didn't actually take them up on the offer though as we were busy running in and out for the wedding events.

Attended a conference recently for a local college open house. Staff was very friendly and directed us to the correct room. Nice size conference room. Beverages were provided. Bathroom was kept clean.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of staying at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany N.J. Iam no stranger to this hotel but every time I'm there I always have a great experience and hate to leave.This time I had something embarrassing happen to me and Danny at the front desk handled it and made me remember why I love coming to this hotel.Thanks for another great stay!

I stayed here recently on business. The hotel was probably built in the early 1980s but has been kept well and refurbished not too long ago. Nice staff, okay room service but not very many choices on the menu. The blandness of most Marriotts can plunge you into a state of ennui if you're not careful, but this one is bright, slightly airy and the exercise room is more generous than most.

We stayed here for one night last weekend. The hotel and it's staff were great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. We did eat both in the restaurant and had room service. I have to say the service was just ok and the food was not up to par.... but chalking it up to a bad night in the kitchen. The hotel did remove the charges when we complained that we did not like our meals. I would definitely stay here again but would probably order take out.
