The bathroom configuration in our room was bizarre. The shower was in its own stall on one side of the room, the toilet was alone in in its own stall on the other side of the room with sink out in the open between them. The glass on both stalls was opaque and there were no exhaust fans so NO privacy. The shower stall had no curtain and water sprayed beyond the stall and had nowhere to drain. The road noise was loud. There was no shop in the lobby for snacks, drinks.

Chose HRH because of the location and obviously also because of the chain. It is located right at the beginning of the old Gaslamp quarter. Parking is an issue in Downtown San Diego and the valet services at the HRH are around $50 / night. I parked across the street at the Hilton parking, which also offers public parking and paid $36, which is still expensive I believe. Bottomline, great hotel & stay.

Great locale, non stop action. Bars in the lobby and 4th floor were great, clean, friendly staff. Clearly the best part of the hotel is the location in the gas lamp district. Easy walking to tons of restaurants and convention center.

From the minute you walk in, you are greeted by an extremely helpful staff, and the atmosphere immediately gets you in a good mood. This is a gorgeous property and the rooms were beautiful and spacious. I wish I was not traveling for work because I would have loved to stay a few days!!! Will definitely go back.

I arrived late time. So, I wanted to go to restaurant. Women at the desk gave me information about restaurant in and around this hotel very kindly. Also another women at the desk helped me to work at the business room.
