What People are saying

Spacious room, but very noisy!

elena111633 on 13/11/2017 00:55

Just stayed for four days with my daughter. We had a large room with a king-size and a twin bed. Big bathroom too. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient. However, the hotel is next to a number of nightclubs, which are unbelievably noisy until almost 5 am every night! Hard to get any sleep!

Marathon weekend

donegalgaa on 10/11/2017 22:22

I was staying in the Harrington Hall as it was close to the start line of the Dublin City Marathon.
The room is small but has everything you need.
The Luas runs pass the hotel and there is a Nightclub across the road so have earplugs if staying a night before the marathon.
It is not easy to find the entrance to the car park and it is quite small due to the location. You have to leave your car keys in at reception.
If you looking for a large breakfast maybe consider somewhere else.
The staff were very nice and helpful.

View of abandoned buildings and night clubs

Leaving your room key as well as leaving your car keys at the front desk is mandatory. Although they state everywhere that they aren't responsible for theft?? We got a great view of an abandoned building for our money and thumping techno house music to "sleep" to. This was the last hotel on our ten year anniversary/birthday trip and it left a very bad taste in our mouth for all of Ireland. The staff was rude and generally disinterested in being helpful or accommodating. Spend a few extra bucks in stay at a 3 or 4 star hotel. This is 2 stars a best for the history of the manor house.

Horror at Harrington Hall

ckaterzynske on 04/11/2017 13:06

Staff was rude and unhelpful, lied and cheated us on breakfast. Loud street noises at night til wee hours of the morning prevented restful sleep. Clue should have been earplugs in bedside tables! Would never stay there again! Horrible!

Good location but stale hotel

mazavaa on 31/10/2017 10:57

The hotel was close Grafton Street in the city center, but the hotel itself was very outdated and not a four star hotel. If it was rated as 3 three star hotel I wouldn't be disappointed. The continental breakfast was quite plain and the breakfast room very unpleasant. The atmosphere at the hotel was quite stuffy and maybe a small renovation would do good. Opposite nightclubs weren't a problem because the windows were soundproof.
