This hotel is tucked away in a suburb of Chieti and not so easy to find. Once inside the staff is very friendly. When you enter your room you are disappointed. The furnishing is 1975 style and fairly dark. At least one quarter of the room is occupied by an immense wardrobe which will stay empty during your stay. The shower cabin is so small I couldn’t take a shower without leaving the "doors" open. Then you open the doors to the balcony and suddenly you are in heaven (see the attached photo). The balcony is the splendid addition to you room. Also the beds are OK. The city centre is about a 20 minutes walk away but offers several good restaurants. When you return after dinner and you settle on the balcony with the lights in the distance and a glass of wine and life is great!
To summarize: this is not a 4-star hotel but the balcony lifts it above the 3-star level. Breakfast is OK but maybe too simple for other people.
If you travel by car: there is no need to use the hotel parking facilities, there is sufficient free parking available on the street.

I had a room with the balcony facing the valley, very nice view. The staff are friendly. It is pleasant to chat with them. I guess that is common in this old town. I booked on expedia. But seems the process is broken. The hotel somehow thought I booked two rooms. And I have to pay to the hotel at a higher price listed in expedia. this is quite strange. I paid all the other hotels on expedia for this trip. The key chain is a block of brass, very interesting.

Nice designed rooms, well organized, trying to be stylish. Bathroom: nice ideas but not really functional. Breakfast is an Italian meeting of coffe and sweet pie.
Internet is a night mare if you are using an iPhone. I didn't pay for the stay but it seemed to be a little bit overpriced. Great view from the terrace.

Stayed for one night to break up the drive from Venice to Puglia. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Bit of a walk to the centre of town but good to stretch the legs and tire the children after sitting in the car for a few hours.
Breakfast was plentiful and children had a good selection which is always difficult.

My wife and I were in Chieti to obtain some information on her grandparents who were born here then immigrated to USA. Spent 3 days at the hotel. Good European breakfast. Staff speaks limited English. View from our room to the North was very nice and could see the Adriatic in the distance. Location is ok. About 20 minute walk into center of town. Restaurant is closed on weekends. They provided a garage for 10 Eur/day for car parking and need to reserve it. Nice shower and room small by US standards. Free Wi-Fi is nice.
