Difficult To Reach, Avoid Senior Citizens, Travel To And Fro From Car Park By A Small Boat.
Bad Location, Unhygienic Premises, Moulds In Room, Unclean Floorings, Leaking Taps, Lack Of Privacy, Poorly Maintained Property
Food Was Good, But Quite Less A Quantity. We Were A Group Of 24 Adults.Had To Compromise Even After Prior Information.
No Outdoor Areas, Indoor Area Ok.
Swimming Pool Good, Water Recycling Inadequate.Salty Taste
Incharge Is Behind You For Eating Food And All. Relaxed Mood Is Spoiled By Over Enthusiasm Shown.

Despite calling / informing them rooms were not prepared. They didn't had any support staff. No toiletries in bathroom. Space around swimming pool was dirty and full of bugs. AC , fan were not working. Restaurent is half operational with chef leaving at 6, we were asked to order early so he can leave by 8.
With Owner living abroad, no one to look/ attend to complaints.
Not much to see around. Back water is dirty. Moreover with unions, boat ride is expensive as well. I think Poovar is bit of hype being created to just keep business running.
With Manager out for the day, both Lovejine and Harish were not capable to run the show.

Havelia island resort to reach one needs to take a boat. Car park is ok and small.A short hop in the boat to the resort. It's a small resort with just about 10 rooms. The rooms r cosy and is built with plywood. Food was good but took some time to be prepared. The main attraction was the pool which was good and quite deep. We went for a backwater cruise which was the best of all.
The main let down was the airconditioner which was a total loss with and just did not work and was tripping always. Better to go when the rains are there or its quite diff to cope up.

Location is Awesome. Hotel provides boat to visit near Mangrove forest and sea with extra charges. river cottages are good and pool is clean. But the food is overpriced, they charged more than 60% of normal resorts, Little disappointed with the food.

It was a wonderful experience. The cottages were beautiful and comfortable and there was a clean pool. The resort's location is amazing. The staff were very hospitable and helpful and we were taken good care of. The service was excellent and included the boat fare.
