Pluses: comfortable beds, night stands and reading lights, wood floors with rugs (no carpet) DVD player for movies, coffee, tea, water and biscuits anytime in the lobby along with lots of comfortable seating, hand held and overhead shower, towel warmer, safe in the closet, mini bar, strong hairdryer, plenty of closet space, port and muscatel served in the afternoon, large and long breakfast (served between 7:30 and noon). While nice, it's not stuffy. Front desk will provide all kinds of information for you and all staff were very friendly. We loved the location. Close access to Restauradores metro station and a funicular. Taxi stand very close by. Taxis are very affordable in Lisbon. Outdoor cafe just feet away. Read the hotel information in the room so you know what is available to you. We used points from a credit card for our stay so that was also great.

It’s one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed.
It’s located on the main street, beautiful boulevard with trees and wide sidewalks. It’s in the middle of everything, all the plazas, restaurants, cafes, shops… within walking distance. 2 minute walk to beautiful Rossio Train Station and Rossio Plaza, life center of Lisbon.
The best service! Every staff is super friendly and helpful, smiling all the time, speaks fluent English, and gives good suggestions of restaurants and everything.
Buffet breakfast is great! Hot eggs, bacon, smoke salmon, cold cuts, breads, fruits, nuts… coffee and teas.
They keep coffee, tea and some cookies in the lobby all day long which is very sweet!
Room is nice, elegantly decorated, nice bathroom with all the amenities.
We called for extra towel, ice (for my husband’s knee)…. We got it right away. I mean they delivered it immediately.
Free fast Wifi.
They really try hard and do a great job! We had a wonderful stay here!

We spent two nights before embarking on a cruise. Room was spacious and well-appointed. Breakfast, included in our rate, was available until noon, a nice amenity for those of us who are not early risers. Hotel is on a lovely tree-lined boulevard but a short walk to a much busier area with lots of restaurants and the Metro.

Visited this hotel in March this year and reviewed it very positively. Had problems with another hotel this week and decided to check out. Heritage were able to help us and offered a great room, in a quiet location at a good room rate. Most rooms are on the side of the hotel, away for Avenida Liberdade. This allows for quieter rooms whilst still being in a great area. Rooms are modern with some retro quirks which we love. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby but prices in the hotel bar are very competitive. Breakfast excellent and good quailty. Now the best bit - the staff - everyone if pleasant and friendly. Bad bits - nothing!.
Reception staff could have given us a pricey rate as we had left our poor hotel but did their best to give us s good rate. We were very grateful. My wife, daughter, and friends returning next year for a birthday party. Managed to obtain advance 55+ rates. Truly a great hotel,

It is a very good hotel. Location is excellent. It is near the older part of the city with lovely old architectures, parks, Sunday souvenir markets. Taxi stand close by. Hop on hop off bus across the street. One funicular is a few hundred meters away which brings one to the top for a great view of the city and view of the 11th century castle( now called St. Georges castle). The funicular is 3.70 € for both up and down. One of the famous Portuguese restaurant, Solar dos Presuntos, is half a block away. It an older hotel and the rooms are a bit smaller than perhaps a five star hotel but the people are extremely friendly and helpful. The usual evening reservation person, Ruben, is extremely friendly, fluent in English and is full of helpful informations regarding restaurants, monuments,museums etc. Excellant breakfast, which is included. Always coffee/ tea available any time for guests for guests.
