We stayed here for a weekend as a family; two adults, two children and we would definitely return. Friendly, helpful hosts. Gorgeous breakfast. Large clean and comfortable family room in a pleasant location. Parking outside not a problem.
An easy 15 minute walk into town.
We look forward to returning.

Nice house with great hosts, 20 minute walk in to York or jump on the bus from just outside the house (100 feet away). Hosts could not do enough for you, lovely choice of breakfast. Nice size room with a nice shower, tea and coffee facilities which were topped up daily. Would use again if and when we are in the area.

Owners make this a nice experience - very helpful and always there. Clean and comfortable room, in a quiet neighborhood where you can park on the street. Wi-fi works well all over. Breakfast is great , made to order, so allow for some time but enjoy full English breakfast.
The distance to the city center is one thing you have to be aware of - takes about 20 minutes of walk - through pleasant neighborhoods - to get to the city center area where all the restaurants and attractions are.

Stayed at Heworth Guest House for a couple of nights in June.
The room we stayed in was very nice.
The owners are very welcoming & always willing to help.
The guest house is about a 20 min walk to the City centre.
The breakfast was excellent and set you up for the day.
Would definitely recommend to others & will look to stay there again the next time we go to York

We stayed here for two nights and would definitely return next time we visit York! The room was very comfortable and clean. Good location, we walked into York very easily, approx 15 minutes. Parking on the local streets for free. Hosts were really friendly and chatty! The breakfast was brilliant!! A good Yorkshire breakfast which was huge, and very tasty!! Would definitely return next time we are in York.
