Cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely gorgeous greenery. Lovely friendly staff. Unfortunately we were there during hurricane Maria. Hotel staff is really amazing, atmosphere is unforgettable. Will visit again when things go back to normal. Already miss Dominica.

The room was clean and we really enjoyed the dinner and the garden in the morning!
Really good value and the tentants are really warm and welcoming!
We had a perfect stay and recommend warmly this place!

We stayed 4 nights (July: 9 to 13) in a Nature Bungalow Room surrounded by a very beautiful garden which gives you a lot of privacy. The room was very clean, spacious and cozy.
The breakfasts and dinners were great: Norunn and her team did whatever they could, to offer the very best of Dominican food. As meals are taken in the restaurant with all the guests together, you can exchange experiences!
Also the cocktails made by her daughter and Nigel were really good!
As we didn't have a car, Norunn brought us twice to our destination of that day.
Hibiscus Valley Inn is 'close' to the end of segment 6 and the start of segment 7 of the Waitukubuli National Trail.
In the neighbourhood you can make nice walking trips and interesting excursions by car (ask Norunn or look at the website). Don't forget the river tubing on the Pagua River!
For the romantic couples who are looking for a secluded Eden-like place: follow the track along the Ste Marie or Crapaud Hall River for about 3 km (where you have to wade the river): a nice place to swim (there are a few pools along that river) or simply cool down. There, you will hear only the murmuring water and the sounds of the jungle!

We had a very nice stay in a nature bungalow part of Hibiscus Valley Inn. Furthermore, the breakfast and dinner were tasty and of good quality. We have also done beautiful trips, e.g. the boiling lake

This was my first time to Dominica. Hibiscus Valley Inn is a great eco lodge. The staff are very accommodating (my flight was delayed by 4 hrs and Lina still sent the driver for me after midnight!).
The property is quaint with the breakfast area downstairs and the dinner spot upstairs. Wifi is only available in the communal areas which is ok if you just want to experience Dominica's nature but reach out to your family during the day. The atmosphere is very inviting in these spaces since the spots are neat. Makes it great for meeting other guests and generally having a good time.
The room itself was very tropical with a wooden finish inside and out. Nice hot water available in the showers. Very clean and spacious. Really matched the Dominican lush environment.
The staff? Friendly and multitalented. Lina in the office was very helpful with making sure i had everything I needed. Nigel - that man can cook! When you go, have him make his special popcorn for you... and try the Rum Punch! Evans was a great tour guide and host, very knowledgeable on the round trip tour. Try river tubing too! It's a great experience. Be sure to ask about their tours.
