Hotel was a last minute choice to visit family after emergency surgery. Hotel was clean. Rooms were nice. Service was excellent. The only down was the difficulty in finding the parking lot. Signage small and difficult to see.

Beautiful hotel conveniently located right across the street from Albany Medical Center. Covered/heated walkway to the hospital is a plus. Plenty of parking on site - make sure your park in the Hilton lot though (the hospital lots are right next to it and not clearly labeled). Staff is friendly and courteous. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel seemed nice enough. Lobby nice. Room was completely charmless. The hotel offers parking for its guests, but doesn’t have nearly enough spaces. There didn’t appear to be any alternative parking. The wake up call system didn’t work. Set it up on the phone, but never got the call. So, in a couple places where it really mattered, this hotel didn’t make the grade. I always stay at Hilton properties so I may give this hotel another chance.

My husband and I recently stayed here the night before his surgery at Albany Med. It is right across the street from the hospital, with a sports bar downstairs, Panera in the same building, and courtesy parking too.
The staff was friendly and courteous, with an effort put forth to be helpful. I was very impressed.
The room was clean, at a fair price, and the beds were comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn recently while my spouse was in the hospital at Albany Medical. I was there 4 nights. I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. The room was very comfortable with amenities including microwave, refrigerator and Keurig. The bathroom was clean and towels were plentiful. As a woman staying alone, I felt safe at all times. The hotel is right across the road from Albany Med with a convenient enclosed pedestrian walkway situated over the street, going between the hotel and AMC. I would suggest arriving in the daytime rather than night to facilitate finding the parking lot or the adjacent parking garage. The full breakfast is GREAT!
