The hotel was fairly average. The rooms were updated and clean. The adjustable/sleep number bed was a nice feature, and there was free Wi-Fi, a fridge, and a microwave. There was also a pool and hot-tub, but I did not use these features. Staff was friendly, although on the last night, I asked for my bill to be placed under my door for easy/quick checkout, but it was not done. Still had to check out at the front desk. It was quick though. The hotel is fairly close to the metro, but the Hyatt is closer so I prefer that hotel. Booked this hotel because the Hyatt didn't have rooms available for all nights of my stay. Would book this hotel again if the Hyatt didn't have rooms again.

Basic accommodations. Close to metro. Overall clean room. However, the beds need updating it was worn and uncomfortable. Pillows were insufficient as well. Tough getting a restful nights sleep. Be sure to check advanced reservations rules. I booked via Hilton app, two days later price dropped $50 a night, yet Hilton would not match their own price without forcing a $25 rebooking fee.

Several day stay for business. Have stayed before. Close walk to Metro (couple of short blocks), but there was some construction limiting passage on sidewalks. Got out and walked some, fairly nice neighborhood for strolling, and there is a back/side entrance (but you have to look around, and it locks in later hours). If you choose breakfast Honors VIP choice, you can eat in restaurant for buffet (offerings were good, but slowly refilled some days; even glassware and plates not always available). Very nice reservations desk person had to move our room due to a problem with the first on e chosen, and called to let us know in advance - considered that to be above and beyond - thanks!

General manager is terrible! I’ve been traveling as a diamond member for Hilton for the last 10 years and never been treated poorly as general manager did to m. Her lack of help to fix my problem with her hotel when it was the Hotel’s fault. She forced me to call Hilton diamond desk to get this resolved fixed. Which they did and they were surprise her unwilling to help on the situation. So if she’s willing to do this to a diamond member what he thinks would be willing to do to non-valued member.

I just completed a stay at the HGI in Bethesda. Very nice, well appointed room. Spacious and clean. Housekeeping was on top of everything.
The front desk was terrific. Dimple was exceptional. Vanessa and Marcus were also on top of their game providing expert service.
The restaurant needs improvement in cleanliness and service. While the quality of the food was terrific, the staff needs some lessons about hospitality. Lisa Mims was spectacular in terms of improvement after we spoke to her. She is really making positive changes which were noticed immediately.
The parking lot is treacherous with very poor signage and very small spaces. They are trying to improve this as well. Lisa is on top of this as well.
Overall I would return but hope the improvement continues.
