The hotel was great but what made it Excellent was the service and professionalism from Reggie (met in the lobby). Reggie went above and beyond to greet people with his beautiful smile and even made sure I had my cookies!

We spent a long weekend in Chicago and stayed at this HGI. Although it was very full, the room was quiet, good sized and comfortable. Amenities include a safe (always welcome), fridge and microwave. During the day, lots of siren noise - virtually none at night.
Excellent front desk staff.
There's an "L" station right next door and you're within walking distance of much that the Magnificent Mile other cultural areas offer.
Good hotel - great stay.

Stayed there for our Chicago trip, the location is good, walking distance to the loop area, and good restaurants nearby. The staff were nice too, good for the price, would come back again next time I'm in town.

We stayed one night when we came for a shopping trip. The location was perfect. Room was large, clean and nice. We ate breakfast at Weber Grill but did not use any other services. We were on a high floor and the view was amazing. I would go back to this hotel for my next trip.

I had a chance to see my friends' room at the Marriott on block away and I was happy to see that, for a better price, I had a nicer room. It was more spacious and the decor was more appealing. The location was perfect for exploring downtown and a good brisk walk to the lakeshore. Also easy access to metro and the airport line. Well, it was a 20 minute walk from the Grand station on the blue line, not to be confused with the Grand station on the other line close to the hotel.
