What People are saying

Tranquil setting less than two miles from the airport

Easy, friendly check in. The hotel has "Pardon our Dust" signs in the lobby but we did not see or hear any construction noise.
We booked a junior suite - living room and bedroom are separated by large bath. Love seat is a sleeper and I suggest they replace the foam in the cushions. Very clean room.

DO NOT STAY. Hilton? More like Red Roof Inn.

Ok. So a few things. Room was good and pool was good. Free parking.... that’s about it.

The gym was closed. The WiFi never worked.

And when I try to order a drink at the bar, they wouldn’t accept my Military ID!!!!! What kind of place is this???

I’ve stayed with Hilton for many years and it’s my preferred hotel. But this place doesn’t accept my military ID?

And the breakfast. I’m sitting here watching 2 staff members. Doing nothing to help the waitress Arani. She’s busting it and helping people. But the these 2 aren’t work. (Food staff. Morning on Nov 19th) the other bigger staff woman. Wouldn’t even lift a finger.

I will never stay here at this Anti military place again.

Nice hotel at reasonable price.

Enjoyed our one night stay before cruise departure although the quality of the breakfast buffet were not up to previous levels. Hope this will change after completion of all repairs from recent hurricane damages.

post cruise

A fairly good location for post cruise travelers. Hotel under repairs so it wasn't what you would expect of the Hilton brand due to the hurricane damage. Check in was a little hectic for early check in due to all the out going cruisers. Transporttation to air port was excellent. Location to resturants was with in walking distance .

Biting Insects - Under Construction

CruzanHamilton on 06/11/2017 14:21

In my years of travel and staying over 200 nights in hotels for the last few years, this by far the worse hotel stay.

Arriving to the hotel, I was surprised by the "Under Construction" phase as I was not aware of their impacts from Hurricane Irma. However, I was exhausted from my flight and Andres at Check-in was AWESOME and very apologetic. The Under Construction phase, produced greater challenges with 1) Finding a small roach at the Coffee Station in my first Room #621. However, this is Florida so I got over it. 2) No working kitchen so no variety in meals for breakfast or dinner. The staff did their best by grilling outside but could only provide the same 3 to 4 limited options every day. As a business person who works in their room all day, this was quite an inconvenience. In addition, the prices for the limited meals were ridiculous.

Even in light of the above issues, I stayed at the hotel due to the Roxana - Front Desk Supervisor, Andres and Brandon - Front Desk Agents were AWESOME and very friendly doing all they can to accommodate and apologize for the inconveniences. Plus, this stay would move me up to Diamond Level Membership status, so figured I would grin and bear the inconveniences for couple more weeks.

However, after transferring to a bigger room due to need for more space to accommodate my relocation to Florida, I woke up one morning to an unrecognizable critter crawling on the blanket and a few days later, skin irritations and big red welts. After rushing myself to an urgent care facility, it was diagnosed that I suffered from insect bites and was prescribed medication for the infection and for the skin irritations. There is no doubt this is a result from my stay at this hotel.

Due to their poor handling of the matter, I would NEVER EVER recommend this hotel location. The Operations Manager Colleen is inconsiderate, works hard to protect only the hotel and does not work in best interest of the hotel guests (at least in this situation). Communicating with her through this incident resulted in further disappointment and me moving to another location ending my stay early from this horrible location.

I have heard of bed insects but literally thought they were myths, folklores, such like "the boogeyman". Never in a million years, did I think this would happen much less happen to me.
