This experience was poor due to the construction going on and the lack of attention to details that could be taken care of before a new person or couple checks in. The point system should be dropped due to this circumstances the keep a person or couple from having a comfortable stay.

Maria & Ross were professional & courteous. Eric did a good job selling the vacation but the resort kinda worked against him. Cleaniness concern & Victor was a little stand-offish.

This was not my first time staying at Marbrisa, which is why we return because of our previous experience. We were here for my mother’s birthday where we stayed in a 2 bedroom room. Room was very spacious but we were place in phase one with no view of anything and close to construction (which we were made aware of since we check in).
We had issues with out when we got to our room. The room had been propped opened making it seem like someone was still in our room but when I called the front desk they said it was okay and blamed housekeeping. You could tell some of the furniture was moved around for cleaning but wasn’t out back (which we had to do). Our biggest complaint to management was the communication of a bike tour/tournament. It was hard to get around between phase 1 and 2 which is why I drove to phase 2 for the pool during the tournament. Staffing directed me to an off site location thinking I was an employee. Connected with management about the situation to let them know about our experience.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom unit. Very clean with everything you need to cook if so desired. Next time I will ask for a unit on 2nd or 3rd floor just because view on first floor is not that great. Pool area area great with lots of things for kids and adults to do.

We are owners of other HGVC properties. Occasionally we use bonus points to stay at Marbrisa because it is only a couple of hours away (in good traffic) from our home. We stayed here this August, and we were here again for 4 nights last week. Its staff are very helpful and friendly. We love the outlet mall nearby, and our grandchildren love the pools at the "Cove." It is not Waikiki, but it's close to home! We call these "trips" our mini-vacations.
