I was attending a conference at one of the conference centres in Liverpool and chose the Hilton as I am a Hilton member. A modern business hotel in a good location opposite the dock development. I had an executive room upgrade and was placed on the 6th floor. Room was tidy and clean, though the air conditioning was not really up to the task of keeping the room cool, which is a not uncommon problem in modern business hotels sadly.
It is a decent hotel, I mark it average as it is a standard I expect of a business hotel but I would stay there again and recommend it to others. Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel has a nice enough vibe. Did not dine there so can't speak about dining but bar area is quite open and relaxing, though they need to sort out the square seats near the entrance as sitting on the floor might have been more comfy.

Stayed for 3 nights on a business event. Room good size , cleaned daily . Comfy bed although pillows not great. Odd issue with noise from music downstairs and noisy water pipes . Food fantastic and excellent service from all staff. Thank you we will be back.

Nothing really to fault. Great location comfortable and spacious rooms. The breakfast was excellent. There are a number of really good hotels which I've visited in Liverpool but this ranks up with the best in my view.

This is a great hotel if you need to catch the train at the Liverpool Lime Street Station- just a short walk and also a great location for the local bus routes. Walking distance to the waterfront. The hotel has a small coffee shop/bar and does serve Starbucks coffee- although it was never open early enough for me to buy a cup of java in the morning!! The hotel breakfast is pricey if not included in your room rate (GBP14.95) but is nice with freshly made omelettes, fruit, etc., much like other Marriotts. Room service is limited but well done. Despite what some negative reviews may have said, I found the hotel staff extremely helpful, almost to a fault, and apologetic when they can't fix something. My room was cold and the thermostat was not working properly- and yes, they did run out of space heaters! However, they fixed it the next day and left the heater running while I was out to make sure the room was warm. Note: there is no mini-fridge, no coffee maker (just instant coffee with a kettle), no plug near the bedside tables (to charge your phone while using it for your wake up alarm), no clock/clock radio for setting wake up alarms and no plug converters for international travellers with laptops/gadgets (glad I brought mine!) so do come prepared if coming for work/business! Double room was large and comfortable- bed was very comfy. It wasn't the cleanest- noted stains on the chair, drapes, found garbage on the carpet. Overall, still a good hotel- will probably still stay here if I need to catch the train. There is room to improve and hopefully they'll make thorough room cleaning a priority!

This is a regular get together for a group of friends who worked together for many years, as such, we value our time together.
We have always been looked after by wonderful staff at the Hilton Liverpool. During our last few visits we have been looked after by the wonderful Josh who really understands what customer service is all about. Josh makes the most wonderful cocktails too, and we should know having been fortunate enough to drink them all over the world!
