This Hotel needs a serious overhaul. You pay a premium and get old worn out rooms. Staff is super nice though. Facilities are great and you get a nice skyline view of Miami. The food was ok, although it could be a bit better for the premium price they charge. it does feel more like a cafeteria than a hotel resturant

This is a great hotel! We stayed before and after a recent cruise. Greeted by friendly and efficient front desk staff, was acknowledged as a Hilton Honors member both times. Shout out to Dan W. at the front desk for such exceptional service! Truly an asset to the hotel. Food and drinks were great at the restaurant and our waiter was very attentive. Pool and property clean and the rooms were comfortable and clean as well. Will definitely stay again! Great location and value

I must have stayed in that hotel probably close to 100 times, have planned many meetings there, and know it very well. Big Positives: - A great location near the Miami airport - Excellent property, spacious rooms, well built, nice views - Some - not all - amazing staff. Big NEGATIVES: - Not very well managed overall - Check in is usually a disaster. The last time was typical: Not enough staff in reception and NO priority for Hilton Honors at check in (yes, there were two lines but anybody could get in either line, and the one for non Hilton Honors moved a lot faster). I waited 25 minutes in line after a very long flight to Miami. Not good. High turnover of front desk staff and they are always youngish kids who never seem to know what they are doing. They routinely ignore the room preferences stated in my profile. The check in person could not give me the 2 bottles of water because "she had ran out". I could go on. - The hotel corridors do not get cleaned properly. The carpets are always dirty with pieces of paper, hair clips, pieces of food. Feels like a Motel 6, not a Hilton. - At breakfast time the people who greet you and sit you are not very competent or friendly. Also very high turnover in that area. Like the front desk. - Room service food is not great but it is ok and the people who deliver it are very friendly, but the restaurant service in the evenings is a disaster - weak menu, bad food, poor service.

The only thing that redeemed my stay was a very eager busboy (dark hair/tall) in the restaurant. And perhaps the bread pudding.
The shuttle was slow and full -- so full that they had to tell one person waiting to wait for next shuttle. While waiting for Hilton shuttle I saw two Marriott and two Sheraton.
Do they not know that at airport hotels, people come in waves with the van arriving. There was one position open, the HHonors position, and a real elite had to queue behind others checking in.
My first room reeked of cigarette smoke. I don't know why housekeeping released it, but I heard several times that the night of my stay they were "sold out" as if that forgave everything. As a frequent traveler, I thought the term was "fully committed."
I left luggage in room to go to Reception to get a new room. They sighed and said they were sold out. I insisted and got a key for new room and explained that I had to return to old room to get bags. The keys to old room did not work repeatedly. It took half an hour to get my bags and settled in new room.
I pulled the cord to open drapes. The fastener came detached from the wall.
The windows were filthy. I could barely see anything through them,
I took a shower and the hardware was shaky and I feared it would fall into the tub. Neither water pressure nor temperature were very good.
Went to dinner and lined up for 5+ minutes waiting to be seated. The fine busboy appeared with water and bread, but it was a good while before server took order. The burger was more bun than burger and arrived tepid. Bread pudding was fine!
Lined up again at 6:30 am to be seated for breakfast. Was finally seated and waited and waited for someone to take an order. I gave up and had breakfast at airport.
I have also given up on this sad property.

I really do love Hilton hotels in general. I was excited to book at this hotel when it turned out that the main hotel for my conference was full. Unfortunately I had two big issues. First, the room was completely filthy (like truly, unacceptably gross) AND it took two requests to the front desk before it was cleaned. Even after it was cleaned the dresser drawers remained filthy and I had to keep my clothes in my suitcase. Before arriving I was offered several "e-upgrades". I was offered, and accepted, the room location upgrade. When I was checking out the price I was charged was double what the email had said. I asked for it to be corrected, and both the front desk associate AND the manager said no!?!?! I was offered some points in lieu of a refund. I even showed my phone with the correct price on the email!?!?! I didn't have time to go higher up the chain of managers so I just left feeling totally disgusted. I did visit one other guest room, and, like mine, there were scuff marks on the walls that go up to the ceiling. The only nice part of the hotel is the bar / lounge area.
