The lobby has been refurbished and makes for a good impression upon arrival. The staff do not disappoint, very efficient, helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent, lovely little old lady fussing around with coffee and juice made my day. Would recommend staying and will be using this hotel again

The hotel is located just off the m1 with easy access into Watford it has a large car park. it was very clean with the lovely friendly staff, breakfast was exceptional with excellent service from staff would highly recommend

A warm welcome from staff we arrived earlier than agreed but rooms were ready for us, check in was a little confusing regarding payment, they take £50 surcharge then a bit for this and the remainder for that! Why they can’t just take price agreed rather than complicate it! Rooms were very clean and tidy with tea coffee, water etc beds comfy bathroom clean and all sundries as you would expect, breakfast was extremely good value for money as it was included in our stay

My partner and I stayed at this hotel after visiting Harry Potter World. We should have been staying elsewhere but due to a double booking we got ‘upgraded’ to a 4 star Hilton from the 3 star we had booked.
It was clean, so that’s great. However, to describe this hotel as a 4 star is way overstating it. The pillows in the room could at best be described as a deflated lilo and for the next week we have both been complaining of a stiff neck.
The morning after a poor nights sleep trying to wrestle the deflated lilo onto something that resembled a half eaten marshmallow as that would have been comfier we went down for breakfast. It was a self service which I don’t have an issue with, however, this was stone cold. I took it back and asked for an omelette as these were being freshly cooked. The chef looked at me like I had asked him to solve a really difficult science problem. It was as though asking him to do his job was a massive issue. He huffed and puffed whilst cracking the eggs, then eventually gave me an undercooked egg dish.
On a positive note......Esme who worked the dining room offering tea and coffee was an absolute delight and couldn’t apologise enough that we were unhappy.
I have always associated Hilton hotels as high quality due to the name, this one was definitely lacking. Unless I have put the brand on a pedestal it shouldn’t have.

Nice staff and a good night's sleep. the Hilton brand is always great. Only negative was the breakfast, cold and dirty plates which was corrected once I informed the staff. Overall a great night and check out was fast and simple.
