Nice and spacious room.
Good restaurant with nice breakfast facility.
5-mins walking distance for the Mall Chowrasta.
Room Heater was adequate.
Sun Deck provided beautiful views.
Manager and staff were very good
Only drawback is the one everybody has already mentioned (steep gradient/ slope to reach the hotel)...BUT, you can reach the hotel by car most of the time...However, if you travel Darjeeling, you should be prepared to walk a lot in the steep gradients throughout the city.

Stayed at the Hotel for 5-6 days and liked its facilities and hospitality....
(1) Very nice, gentle and helpful staff (each one of them).
(2) Nice and spacious room.
(3) Good restaurant with nice breakfast facility.
(4) 5-mins walking distance for the Mall Chowrasta.
(5) Room Heater was adequate.
(6) Bathroom was fine.
(7) Sun Deck provided beautiful views.
(8) Wifi connection was adequate.

The hotel was a decent one. The staff were good. Its distance from mall road was 15 mins walking. The food was average. The ambience was also good. It was neat and clean. A bit of upgradation will help it further.

Rooms and bathroom are of average quality, room floor was covered with cloth and it cause the concern for cleanness. Bathroom was also not good.
Staffs were polite and good.
Restaurant is also very good and have provided great breakfast and dinner.

The hotel is located in the middle of the city on a one way road. if your driver misses it than you will have to go in a 10 mins circle to come back again. It is on a narrow steep road end on the top and a few hotels on the way up so there is a high chance that other hotel cars would be parked on your way up hence your driver will have to leave you on the middle of the road for you to climb up to the hotel which can be extremely painful and inconvenient after a tiring trip or on a rainy day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff works really hard to put a smile on your face.
Rooms are nice. We had three rooms and had hot water issues in all of them.
Would not recommend to families with young kids or old parents.. too hard to walk up when you come back from a stroll in the market.
