A nice hotel with a very good service. A lot of activities that be done at the hotel. Sauna World, pools and a big gym is included.The food in the restaurants are VERY good. The rooms standard can be improved. The TV is very bad, both in quality and choice of channels (both Swedish and English).

Considering the price we paid, I don't think this hotel delivered. Rooms were run down, bathrooms not cleaned properly. We told the staff at the reception about this, but nothing was done to fix it. We followed the suggestion to not have our towels cleaned everyday by hanging it instead of putting it on the floor, but got new towels everyday anyway. The lobby is very nice and spacious and the breakfast really good. Pool area good too. Nice gym.

The facilities were nice and spacious. However, we came in last week of August and there was next to nothing open. Because of this we had to travel quite far to do anything. Also, the local hours are odd most places don't open til 9 or 10 and then lunch places close at 2 and you can't get restaurant food again (in town) until at least 5 so if you missed your lunch your out of luck. Be careful if driving here late in the evening as well. We drove up from Stockholm and there were no gas stations open past 9pm the very latest. So if you need gas on your journey and haven't gotten it by then you are in trouble. Same heading back trying to find any place open before 10 that had gas or food. Obviously the locals would probably know this ahead of time, but presuming most people who stay here aren't from the area this is important to know. Seems to me it is a much funner place in the winter as more things are open. There is only so many times you can see the overpriced ski shops in summer. Sauna world was fantastic, however for the cost of the ticket even tho you are staying there you CANNOT leave and have lunch or anything and return the same day. We were under the impression that it was a day pass that was not the case..and bring your own bath sized towel to dry off after they only give you little hand towels and those are for the sauna. Front desk staff are helpful though. Wouldn't say any of it was handicap accessible and if you are from the states be prepared to be surprised how early everything closes there.

A great place for those who like to be active. The indoor swimming pool and saunas were great. Many outdoor activities were available: swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, etc. Great time had by all.

Our second stay here with the kids. The kids love the spa so it is always a winner. The breakfast was very good. Our room had a fantastic view of the lake and with the high quality coffee maker in the room, I could enjoy the morning glory on the porch.
