Based on all the amazing reviews of this place, I booked this place for my 3N/4D stay in Kodaikanal. The location of this place is absolutely perfect as it is outside of the town center, so there is very little hustle and bustle. There is plenty of nature including a stream that runs through this budget resort. The staff, especially Prabhu at the front desk, are absolutely sweet and kind, and took very good care of me, and I felt 100% safe despite travelling solo as a female. I was even given a free upgrade to a streamside room which was spacious, clean, and so very quiet. The perfect escape from city life - just what I was looking for. There's no WiFi in the rooms but this is clearly stated in the hotel's description. I did however spend time catching up on emails and such in the lobby when I needed to. It was actually quite nice not to be attached to my phone constantly when in my room. The location is super - there was always the option to walk everywhere. In fact, I walked to town to explore the lake area and Croakers walk and observatory ... But the most stunning views were found on the walk from the resort to Vattakanal. If you are confused about where to stay in Kodai, just don't give it a second thought - book this place right away!

I used to frequent this excellently located place in the 90's when I was 9-10 years old. Must have stayed at least 10-12 times between 9 & 14 years. Revisited this resort after a very long gap with my wife and daughter who is now 9 years old. The charm of the place is still the same but the amenities, rooms and services have vastly improved keeping with the present times. Ended up staying for 5 days. The resort gives a typical old world British feel amidst a lot of undulated greenery. We stayed in the luxurious stream facing room. The sound of the water flowing is constant and is very meditative. The buffet breakfast was really good though other food which is served on order needs to improve. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Special mention to Mr Prabhu(manager) who endeavoured to cater to our every request. I highly recommend this place for families. Have to say that this was one of our best holidays.

Stayed with my family for 3 days, it was a wonderful experience. Once of the best properties in kodaikanal.
Amazing location my room was just 30ft yest just 30ft away from the stream the mesmerizing music by the stream can be heard 24/7 which will relax you mind and body....Dont miss it!

Special mention about Mr. Prabhu, the manager of this property who was always very helpful and ready to go extramile to ensure customer satisfaction in other words you feel like at home.
Very big property in the midst of nature. This would be the best place for team building activities and all family get-together programs. I would recommend this place for all my friends and relatives.
Morning Buffet breakfast was good and dinner buffet was fine...suggestion would be to have alakarte for dinner.
Overall good value for your money Guaranteed. Surprise Guaranteed!

I am writing the review too late from the time of visit.
Pros : The property is well maintained across.The rooms are well designed.Lots of greenery around.The place is not too far away from other tourists spots.The staff and the owner both are humble and welcoming.
We wanted to have a mountain trek more kinda walk the owner arranged the same for us it took approx 4 hrs the view of mountain there is amazing and lovely landscapes to enjoy.Best part while on trek we had a craving of typical tamil Nadu food ,we called the resort and asked if they can arrange for the same and they did it for us which was tasty.
Cons :
The bathrooms are smelly needs work there .
The food served gets cold easily while it reaches the table due to the weather,however something needs to be planned on a better way as guests would expect hot food as its too cold.
The Bon fire could be made better
Add more varieties to food.Serve what u can make the best as per the region.Can bring and show authentic cuisine from the kitchen.
Rooms are dull lighted can improvise.
Provide better door mats and bathroom rugs.
