Me and my husband have stayed at this hotel 3 times. Overall, it has always been a good experience. This was our first time staying since the renovation. The upgrades were nicely done. However, there is one thing that must be mentioned. It is frustrating to me whenever I find hairs in multiple bath towels. They were clearly visible and I’m sure a housekeeping staff member would have seen them when putting the towels on display. The room was for the most part very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Not to mention, this hotel is in a good location to the Biltmore Estate. Overall, always a pleasant experience.

This property has been totally renovated to a high standard! Its lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean (& I'm a germaphobe), the bed comfortable. They do a nice breakfast buffet for $6.95.

This Holiday experience was totally a "let-down". The Holiday facility at which I stayed in West Asheville was a perfect experience. But my wife and I needed to be near an activity for our trip.
1} Asheville-Biltmore East was over priced. The staff was mis-leading and arrogant. Making a statement about breakfast being available from 0630 to 1000 was nice. Until I learned that it was not complimentary and the yogurt was going to cost me $7. The benches were too worn to accommodate a 145 pound person.
2} The "pet friendly" feature resulted in an aggressively barking dog and owner/guest making outrageous and assertive statements because the dog was totally out-of-control and took possession of the entire bottom floor wing. I mean all I was doing was walking down the hall way toward the side exit door. For remainder of my stay I did not feel safe traversing that section of the facility. As such I took the staircase and avoided the elevators.
3} The room was adequate. The bathroom was extremely small. The USB-power setup was great. Warm water never did arrive to the shower for room 430.

This is not your father’s Holiday Inn. Everything was spotless and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the restaurant exceeded expectations - the food was delicious and beautifully presented. It’s a great deal, especially for the price.

Returned here for our Asheville visit and found rooms had been updated and renovated.
Great comfy king bed and huge flat screen TV...nice bright lighting in bathroom with
walk-in shower. Pets accepted. Has full service restaurant on the premises with a good breakfast buffet available for $7. Very helpful and friendly desk staff.
