I came to London for business trip and stay here from 4 nov - 9 nov 2017. Location of this hotel is really good because not too far from airport. And staff really helpful, on 6nov i remember i really need to copy some of documents and i went down to receptionist at 5am and hotel staff (a man) kindly help me to copy my documents and on 7nov i need DUCT TAPE to wrap this guy also kindly help me, one-thing that i miss was i forgot to ask who that man name that two times help me :) :). From this comment i just want to thank you for your great help when i was stay there.

I stay at this hotel on a fairly regular basis. The reason for my title review is that I feel as a Spire Elite member of IHG I would usually expect to be upgraded whenever possible to a better bedroom, preferably one with a view over Brentford Lock. While I appreciate this isn't always possible this weekend the hotel appeared fairly quiet. I was given a room on the 4th floor which turned out to be a standard room, which was ok and did have a view over the lock, but I found the double bed was quite small and the room could have been cleaner, also there were dusty cobwebs appearing from the area around the air conditioning unit around the ceiling.
The reception area is clean and has a very modern appearance which is nice, the standard bedroom size is ok but no more, but as I have already mentioned the beds could (and should) be bigger.
Hopefully in the future the reception staff will appreciate the regular custom of Priority Club members, especially Spire Elite, and provide an upgrade whenever possible. Unfortunately this weekend given the apparent lack of customers I felt I could have been treated to a better room.
Note there is a £14 charge for overnight car parking, and again I feel for Spire Elite this could be waived.
The evening food here is average, and quite expensive given that it is no more than average, there are restaurants the other side of the lock including an all you can eat Chinese buffet which is much better value.

Hotel was chosen, as its close to office, also its approximately 30 min drive from Heathrow.
Hotel is not new, but rather clean and comfortable.
Staff friendly but not all the time helpful ( I had cases, when they were very helpful, and in other cases opposite). Reception is 24 hours, which is good in case of late or very early flight.
Breakfast it not very reach ( typical UK, but you can find what you need).
Wi-fi is free and ok.
Rooms are standard.
I see that hotel is progressing, trying to improve services

Attending the Barbarians - New Zealand game , I was loooking for a hotel on wałking distance from Twickenham Stadiium,
We opted for the Holiday In Brentford.
It ocurred to be a good decision a nice walk through the park to the Stadium , wonderful and kind people working there both behind the reception desk and the restaurant.The breakfast is a 10 !
Also the surroundings are beautiful.

We went out for the night and we booked last minute and it was a really good price and a lovely room beds are really comfortable a lot of space in the room as well and the staff were really polite and very helpful
