What does one want from a Holiday Inn near an airport?
Clean Room: No complaints there...
Comfortable Bed: No complaints there....
Silence: BIG complaint there!!! The walls in this very old building are apparently made out of paper, so that you hear anything what is going on in the other rooms. Moreover, the doors are not sound proof whatsoever, so that you can hear each and every person trying to unlock this very bad door card system, Of course if it is a group with a couple of rooms, they start to communicate loudly across the hall, how to unlock the doors. Really just bad.
And I had 4! mosquitoes in my room, no blame there, but this made my trip to this hotel a very unpleasant experience!
Nighty was not very friendly, the guy in the morning at check out however was quite nice.
The gym is a joke...the picture looks nice the reality however does not invite to workout.

A clean and friendly Holiday Inn. Location is great for the airport but is about a 20 min taxi ride to the centre of town. Rooms are clean tidy and well stocked. Nothing to stand the hotel out from other Holiday Inns but nothing wrong with the hotel!!!

We stayed here as part of a coach trip in September. The hotel is lovely, nice room and en suite however it’s situated on an industrial estate about seven kms out of Cagliari. Food was good at both dinner and breakfast. Staff nice and helpful too. Bar is just in the foyer but there is comfortable seating and the drink prices are reasonable. Excellent coffee! I believe it’s handy for the airport and I would think that is why most people stay here.

We had one night in Cagliari and early flights this Sunday morning so I booked 3 rooms for our families to stay in, so we could wake up early and go the airport. Super happy with the choice. Amazing rooms, nice, clean and spacious.

We chose this hotel only because we had to fly out of Cagliari airport to the Far East and wanted to be near the airport as well, to use our IHG rewards points.
That said, we arrived early at 10.30 the day before our flight and was greeted vet hospitably by the two receptions on duty that morning.
They arranged our early check in and we were given a very nice room on the 4th floor of the hotel which, is the executive floor. After resting the morning and using the free wifi to catch up on our business, we went down to the restaurant for lunch.
The food was excellent and fresh. We had a mixed seafood grill as well as spaghetti with clams. Delicious. This was finished with a creme caramel and lovely tasting expresso coffee.
The hotel is clean and the staff very attentive to all of your needs. I asked for some milk for my coffee in the room which, had provided a wide range of complimentary coffee, tea and cocoa products. This was brought to my room really fast and I was delighted by the service received.
The room is luxurious and has everything any traveler would need for their stay here.
In the afternoon we dipped in the outside pool and took in the sunshine on the deck chairs. Such a relaxing day prior to our long day.
Well done Holiday Inn, you have done us proud and that is why we stay at your hotels because, you really do care about your guests. Kudos in every respect.
