Great Hotel
W_Maupinon 16/11/2017 17:08The staff at this hotel is one of the best. They all go out of their way to help me whenever I'm staying. Becky in the restaurant is great in the mornings. Jill and Danielle at the front desk are always so helpful and friendly, and Annie and Heidi at the bar are amazing. I always feel welcomed by everyone here. There are a lot of choices around for hotel stays but I always choose this one for the entire staff.
Can never go back
Mgk2002on 10/11/2017 04:32I stayed at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn in 1992. It was the best addition to the town. Most other hotels were pretty bad. Great service and very well managed.
Was there this week and I have to say, not great anymore. In my room wall paper was peeling off the walls, furniture had the finish worn away and the colors were unchanged. WIFI signal was beyond weak.
The main level still looks good the restaurant was clean. The service was friendly but it took close to 30 minutes to place an order. I might consider another place on my next visit.but took over .

Kathleen Bon 13/10/2017 20:03We were part of a wedding party reservation, and had a very rough week prior to the event. Had to cancel and then rebook with a very short time line, and the hotel staff was extremely supportive and helpful in accommodating our crazy agenda!
This hotel is WAY overdue for remodel
Donna Hon 09/10/2017 15:34Let me first say the hotel staff was outstanding. Especially the gals at the check-in desk.
I've lived in the area for some time and seen this hotel over the last 12 years, related to friends who have stayed for business. I think they have improved Customer Service and also perhaps replaced the beds, but other than that, nothing else.
The carpets are so dirty and worn, the furnishings especially upholstered surfaces are dirty and the whole place has a dirty smell to it.
I realize it is a rather large property, but this needs to finally be addressed. It is so outdated and worn and therefore dirty. You can only clean carpets so long with that much traffic before they are filthy, as well as couches and chairs.
We stayed last night and our carpet was really wet in some areas, and the staff happily changed our room. So again, I cannot say enough about the staff. I'd bet they too would love to see it remodeled to be able to be more confident and proud about what they are providing, rather than to apologize.
I certainly hope plans are in the works soon, it's been WAY too long!
Wedding Visit
_pgparkerforbeson 24/09/2017 17:49This hotel was nice, everyone was pleasant and it was very clean and safe. What truly made it memorable was our breakfast server, Silvino. We decided to stop in for the mediocre breakfast buffet and had the best time with a server that had an extraordinary personality!! He made the mediocre buffet superb! Silvino should be a shining example to all. Actually, everyone we met at the hotel was very friendly and made our stay memorable.
