Great spot
Bcharityon 24/10/2017 18:55Extremely clean, well lit, no issues or problems. Lobby was nice, room was well maintained. A little pricey but can only assume that was due to the football game that weekend (which I was not in town for) Other than that overall great experience.
Nice Place to Stay in Christiansburg
sport1313on 15/10/2017 01:47The hotel is very clean and seems updated throughout. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to my family. Wifi worked well and there were plenty of eating options nearby. Centrally located for us. Would come here again for our next visit to the area.
Fresh air is nowhere
knuckledragger36on 13/10/2017 17:37There is no fresh air supply in this hotel. Our family of 5 stayed three days in a middle room on the middle floor, and the CO2 concentrations on our calibrated meter were alarmingly high. For reference, outdoor air is typically 400-600 ppm and current air quality standards specify an upper limit of 1000 ppm. Overnight CO2 levels in our room were always 1400-1700 ppm, and once we all woke up and started moving around, CO2 levels went to 2000-2100 ppm every morning. Opening the door to the hallway made almost no change every time I tried. The lowest we ever saw the room CO2 was 760ppm after being gone all day, and this was with the room HVAC fan AND the bath fan running at all times. All measurements were made with a calibrated meter.
As much as we liked the indoor pool, the hot breakfast (make sure you get vouchers when you check in and the hot buffet will be free), friendly staff and the quality of the hotel, until this problem is fixed I would avoid staying here if you are traveling with more than just yourself. Management, if you're listening, you need to modify or replace the PTAC units in your hallways so that they CONTINUALLY provide make-up (fresh) air, for the safety of your guests.
HI Express never disappoints
Ryan.Won 23/09/2017 03:24Hi Express is my go to Interstate-stop hotel. This one is as good as the others. We were lucky to have a very efficient hotel employee on duty for our arrival. Bianca must be a hoteliers dream employee. She helped with all our needs, and we were definitely in need. She addressed all our concerns and offered great restaurant recommendations. Bedroom was very clean and working properly. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Only downside was the less than friendly breakfast attendant. But not enough to spoil the stay. Thanks.
Great hotel!! BUT the breakfast....
steven son 05/08/2017 14:19The hotel is clean and very well kept. The bed sheets are a little fuzzy. But other than that the hotel is very nice! The only problem I had was the breakfast! If you like dry bagels and cold cereal you'll be fine! But if you want anything warm you'll be gouged 8.99! I feel like it's a trap! We have free breakfast!! But don't stray to the right side of the room! If you do.... only 3 stars because of that.
