Booked for one night and paid with Visa, whilst there asked for a second night and paid in cash, so then upon check out i check the bill, so showed a 3 night stay and the guy had already billed my card for the 3rd night. He never apologised, just made up some excuses but look i am not dumb, this is clearly a nice little scam where as he bills 3 nights on the visa card, wait until you leave then changes it to a 2 night stay paid via visa and keeps the $300 cash, pretty neat trick right? except i caught him doing it, now as soon as i spotted it he starts acting like it was all a mistake that had never ever happened before, no apologies though but he did have to refund the extra $300 back to my card which takes days. Forward an hour and another staff member who i have become friendly with is on duty, i go talk to her and show tell her what happened, she checks everything and confirms the refund was processed but does take some time.. THERE IS NO WAY THAT WAS SOME KIND OF MISTAKE, DUDE YOU TRIED TO RIP ME OFF AND POCKET THE CASH...BUSTED..
Otherwise the place is still nice, some of the busier rooms a little dated but clean and nice, pool excellent, food very decent, mostly friendly honest staff..

Aside from the lengthy wait to check in and the pressured "take an hour of your time for our presentation" while trying to get a parking pass, this was a lovely vacation spot. The units are well appointed and the water facilities - lazy river, hot tub, splash pads, pool, slide - are fabulous. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Vey handy for KSC and other tours.

When you visit the KSC you don't have many options, and this is one of the main ones. The stay was without real issue but it felt like a 2* hotel from the 80s.
In our suite, the rooms were miniscule, the decor really out of date, lighting awful, facilities cheap-looking and housekeeping unimpressive.
In the list of great things was the kids play area and the pool. The restaurant service was incredibly bad - that type of service where the kid forgets what you ordered and says anything to cover his ineptitude. My wife didn't eat her dinner because of this.
Who really cares i suppose when the point is sleeping somewhere just to visit the KSC, but we were very disappointed.

We did a timeshare exchange to use some points that were expiring. We were not sure what this place was like but thought we would give it a try. My husband and I booked a one bedroom and a two bedroom unit. Halfway through the week, our daughter and family along with a couple other grandkids came down. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very accommodating. We wanted our rooms close together so they had that all set for us at check-in. We were in the main building by the pool. We loved our view and closeness to the pool and activities. There is another building on the ocean which is a short walk away from the pool side building. Another building is under construction closer to the ocean. They had a cool shuttle transportation Service between the buildings and beach which was scheduled for about every 15 minutes. The pool is very large and beautiful and the hot tub is also a very nice size and always a good temperature. They also have a very small playground and a water splash area with squirting fountains. Our kids also enjoyed the movie theater which was in the main building. They had movies scheduled throughout the day and into the evening. It was so nice to be able to just walk downstairs in our building and see a movie in a nice little theater. The kids wore their slippers and brought blankets :-) They also have a very nice basketball court and tennis court that can be lit up at night until about 10 o'clock or so. However when we were there, the lights were not working well because they were affected by the hurricane. The beach has been affected by hurricane Irma and had a lot of sand washed away from what I understood. In the evening, there was not much of a beach to walk on because of big clumps of ocean debris and high tide. It was fun to see the cruise ships passing by several times most days since Port Canaveral is very close by. We ate at the restaurant on site and had a very good service and food. I had a chicken sandwich with Brie cheese along with a topping of nuts and cranberries in a brown sugar sort of sauce. The waitress also recommended their sweet potato fries which were very good along with a dipping sauce. This place was kind of difficult for us to find when driving there at first because there are so many cruise terminal buildings and parking lots around that we were kind of confused with the directions even with our navigation device They wanted us to go on a timeshare presentation but I told them that I was not interested for sure and they did not bother me again. We would love to go back to this place... maybe for a family reunion since there is something for all ages.

Check-in was relatively quick and easy. We were told to get a parking pass from the timeshare office - however, we got in late and that office was closed, so we had to wait until the next day. However, I only had to sign for the parking pass the next day, no timeshare tour required. Our group of 9 family members, 6 adults and 3 children - ages 3, 8, and 12, took advantage of many of the amenities at this resort: the mini-golf course, the movie theater, the indoor playground, the walk path to the beach,and the great pools as well as the lazy river and slides. We had breakfast one day and lunch the next at the on-site restaurant, Cape. The food was good both times. Service at breakfast was a bit slow; but friendly and adequate; seems they were short handed that morning. We stayed in a studio type room. The room were pretty good - it was in need of some renovations, however the bed was comfortable and the room was decently appointed. We are already planning another trip to visit Kennedy Space Center again and this resort is at the top of the list for a place to stay.
